Thread: hollow strength

Is there any class of hollow stronger than menos? Or do they have to remove their masks in order to progress?

If you mean vastrodes, there isn't anything revealed. The arankaru may be stronger, but there is no evidence which supports such a fact yet.

arent the vastrodes stronger than the menos?

i guess i should have said this earlier. without using the hyougoku or removing their masks. I could be wrong but once you remove your mask you're no longer a hollow

Actually it is explicitely said that the menos are the weakest hollow units, the peons ( exept of course the little bitch hollows on earth ).

There are 2 levels of hollow stronger than the Menos Grande(gillians). The next level up after gillians is ajuucaru(sp?^^). The final and strongest hollows are the vastoroodes, they have more humanoid appearance and are thought to be somewhere around captain level strength or better. Just imagine how strong they must get when they become arankaru.

Vastrodes are menos after all.
When gillians infiltrated soul society after everyone thought Aizen had been captured, we saw something HUGE between the gillians, but just a glimps of it.

Maybe it was something different, maybe it was some kind of hallow technology made by intelligent hollows for example vastrodes, who knows.
Could be some kind of strong hollow as well.

We don´t know, maybe they are to evolve maybe they fuse, it was never stated how they became what they are.
