Thread: Bleach Anime's Music

So, I've been watching the anime (so far a pretty good translation), and some of the music is great. I like it. But some of it is just... not good. Like, when there's voices singing lyrics, in english, and it sounds like something out of an 80's movie (think: flash gordon). It really kills the mood for me. It's all dramatic and stuff when he finally starts fighting kenpachi, and then that music busts out, and I just start laughing. Do japanese people think that kind of music is good? To me it's a travesty. Seriously, go and watch episode 38, and listen to the music.

i now this thread is kinda boring but i could say the best music is when ichigo is going to fight, it starts like this:"if you wanna see some action..."

I intended to maybe start discussion on the music. This is a forum, where things are discussed. If you don't like it, I dunno, ignore it or something. No need to be all disdainful.

Yeah, I love that OST too. But anyways, I love all of the OST music, opening, and endings. I think they were all done quite well and including episode 38.

I hate that song!? If people are over, my roomates or whatever I turn it down if/when she starts to sing because it sucks so bad I'm embarassed to listen to it.

I have actually been watching Bleach and that song has started and I had people over and they would just start laughing and ask me what the hell I was listing to... what a horrible song. I'm laughing right now just thinking about that crappy ass song.

I've always hated the song. I mean, there's no need for a soul song right in the middle of a death match >_>.

But who cares? The Japanese have different tastes than American. Which could be said about any country really.

Also, I like the 80's-esque soundtrack but the Soul song is meh. I would like if they used Black Label Society's "Bleed for Me", Europe's "Final Countdown", or Lacuna Coil's "Heaven's A Lie". But you can't choose the soundtrack until you become the director, so not much point to bitching.

I haven't really liked any endings, but that is how it is generally with an anime. Good opening, crappy ending. I slightly enjoyed the first opening, but I adore the new one. I can't wait until I hear a full version of it.

haha...i think there can be a better song instead...but it's a small fault...i'll still watch bleach even if the song stays...lol...
