He really hasn't had that much time to train, and it was better for him to improve existing skills than to work on something new.

yeah, ichigo would probably kill faster with the sword than doing arts..
Also when ichigo attack's it does not leave much time for others do arts too cause ichigo is quite fast ^^
Because demon arts are complicated and difficult to learn. I don't think he'd be very good at it.
He'd probably mess up and blow a foot off... well, considering his high power, he'd blow the bottom half of his body off.
I agree with all of you guys, but it is always better to have two apples instead of one.Maybe after this arc he could learn some demon arts because a sword can be taken away from you, but it's a lot harder to take away your demon arts. Some situations might require demon arts.
Yeah, I'd like to see demon arts play a bigger part in some future fights too,
