For a second there...I thought someone died.

Damn Unohana fights so gracefully and deadly, she really doesn't waste a single move. He got his fighting style from her but didn't know the reason she uses one hand was because she used the other for giant trowing knifes, which I think are kidō actually I'm hoping it's Kidō because I know how much Kenny always tried to neglect it.

Kenny would have to die a thousand times in order to get a power up? Seems like the most legit way to train his ass. I can't tell if he literally DIED and was somehow brought back to life (via some special ability of Unohana's) or his fear just showed him is end (so he has to focus and control it)?

And seeing as how its 100% confirmed for me that Ken knew Unohana during her Battoussai days it must have really been weird, as someone said last week, for him to be in the same rank as her KNOWING what she had now become. No wonder Ukitake and Shunsui were afraid of her, SHE WOULD ASS RAPE THEM!

p.s. Random though: guys... is Ken the first/only captain we've seen CRY thus far? I cant remember if other Captains had or not before. I knew Hitsu kinda cried when he thugh Aizen killed Momo.. but he also had some rage in him as well. The toughest sob in Bleach looked like a sad puppy. I think that was the sadest, most heart warming moment i've experienced in Bleach....ever.

The only explanation this manga needs is how god damn old these guys are, we clearly saw Shunsui as a little boy when he was looking at the picture of Yama-ji in the flashback meaning that Unohana is much older then him but why the f**k does she still look so young same goes for Kenny, yet Yama looked like he's been around since the dawn of time.

Yea Flash, the aging in Bleach if stupied microscopically, can be quite confusing. On one hand we have the knowledge that they guys are spirits, angel some would say, so they dont have a reason to age physically... yet we know they do. Its obvious they age but much more slowly than humans. So where a human undergoes a dramitical physical change in 10 years on earth in Spirit terms thats like a month? Flash what if Unohana still looks young, even though we have an idea that she's as old as Ukitake and Shunsui if not older, because during her Battoussai days (like Kenshin) she was just a kid...in spirit terms? We kind of give her that "old woman" respect because she's strong, motherly, and has been around for a while, but we have no idea what her physical state could have been during her prime?

IDK. On work and the topic of aging in Bleach is more though provoking than I though.

I'm guessing that she's using her Bankai right now or something, cause for what she said, I'm pretty sure she really did put the sword through his throat, and then using her Bankai or something instantly healed/brought him back to life.

^ what he said and given the fact that the blood kenny spurt still remain on her face after he blackout, I'd say the stab is real.

I would say it's more her Shikai then Bankai, I don' think KT would have her go Bankai without us seeing her shout it out and there has yet to be an explanation on how here Shikai works (Still hoping its Kidō). The fact that Kenny might not be able to die is just stupid and the fact that he seems to be a damn saiyan and gets stronger after almost dying is a little funny, he's hair does remind me of Raditz.

What I really want to know is what will Ishida do when it comes to this next war, will he join the Quincy's or make up one of his odd reasons to fight along side Ichigo.
