Grimmjow already pretty much said how he couldn't become a Vastolorde because he was at his limit. I would like him to significant again too but unless his contract with Urahara is to remove that limit I don't see it happening.
Maybe that is his contract with Urahara though. He agrees to help them with something that only an arrancar can do and Urahara agrees to help break more barriers or some such nonsense.

Yes and Grimmjow already stated, during his flashback, that there was really no more advancement for him. He bit his subordinates because they couldn't evolve anymore.Quote:

Grimmjow never stated that Shawlong did and he bit D'roi when they first met and that's why he couldn't evolve anymore, they believed that Grimmjow was the only one who could become a VL out of all of them and that's why he told Grimmjow to eat them.Quote:
