She was half Baunto, three quarters Quincy. Ichigo is the ultimate mongrel.

He is one bastard of a son.

2 possibilities:
-Juba called Ichigo his son and Ichigo also has shinigami powers
-Could this mean that Masaki is Juba's daughter??

Don't know but Kubo Tite loves to mindfck his readers.

I dont know what was more entertaining the chapter itself or the memes at the end. "I am Shinigami!!! *me gusta*"

So great... man. Ichigo is more plot jutsu-fied than Naruto. Lordy... could there possibly be any relation to him and Ishida? Go figure his dad got it on with a Quincy, for a Shinigami he really seems to be down with them. Such a rebel Isshin*.

That feel of getting trolled by Kubo again

Here's my theory... pls feel free to blast me/flame me if if there's anywhere wrong @_@

Isshin took Masaki, who was a quincy, prisoner 500 years ago, when the Shinigami pwned the quincies in the war. Assuming Isshin's a squad captain back then, and was tasked to look after/guard the prisoner (Masaki).

after a while, Isshin and Masaki developed feelings for each other; thereafter, they both plotted an escape into Karakura town, where part of the plan is for isshin to loose his Shinigami powers to avoid detection.

So, this might explain why suddenly Ichigo can summon up Quincy powers, where he already have Shinigami, Hollow, and Fullbring powers.
I also have a feeling that these 4 powers play a key role/plot when it comes to discussion about the spirit king.

inb4 Ichigo goes super saiyan, loses control of his jinchuuriki powers, uses gomu gomu no gatling and maybe even taps into the speed force...just to add that American zest to the mix...

I have to draw the line somewhere for how "cool" ability stacking can be. Hollow powers were rad. Fullbringer abilities would make more sense in this situation (Masaki could still have been fighting hollows while being pregnant, I guess), but still seems contrived. I dunno, I'm convinced Kubo is taking psychedelics and running around Jump's offices saying "I am teh Ichigo!!!"

On topic - maybe Masaki was originally Juha's woman (crude, but probably how he would phrase it), and thus he thinks Ichigo is his son...at this point, who the hell knows...

Guess that explains Zangetsu look.

O_O at the notion of Ichigo's paternity coming into question.
