WHAT?!?!?!?! I feel so jipped! the one time that Zaraki gets the crap beaten out of him and we don't even get to see what happened?!?!?!?! Sigh, it's probably because kubo couldn't come up with a decent way to show what happened. Even after reading the chapter and seeing it, I can't believe he got beat so easily

Hype. And tension. I was sure this would happen (even if I rooted for "novel kenpachi" who can actually level up to overcome his opponent...guess he got blitzed :P).

This was a really good chapter. WIth some good music and Yama-jii going around killing shit...and encountering Buckbeard. Great chapter!

Yea, didnt really need to see how Kenpachi was dispatched of. Fricken King guy stopped kenpachi's blow with a single hand...and let he real he is WAY above Nniotra*'s level. Slash slash, block block etcetc. Hears to hoping yama-jii burns shit up and gives us an epic battle.

Quincies kill hollows like there nothing and did you not learn anything from the Arrancar arc them having hollow powers means jack shit.

This is going to be Kubo's reason to give Kenpachi an excuse to find out his sword's name. It's still a cop out though.

Meh, maybe I exaggerated a little. I was just under the impression if you have hollow powers they can not take your bankai. If that is the case Shinji should of been able to dispatch any rank and file enemy with no problem. Perhaps I am overthinking this, but I thought he would at least be on par with Kenpanchi in terms of power if he has his mask on. Then again perhaps he didn't want to put his mask on so he was fighting at just a captain level. A lot of other things went into my post that I failed to mention.

I know I know, I was just hoping that perhaps he would re-visit that point and make it make more sense. I was let down again. SMH.
