It's too early and way too easy for Byakuya to go down like that.

The captains are definetely going to lose to these guys. I wouldn't say they'll all die (this includes Byakuya), but I really believe they're going to lose. Maybe after crushing the Shinigami the Quincy will occupy Soul Society as their base. Then Ichigo is going to need to get an A team that includes a few of the defeated captains, Grimmjow, and Uryu. Hopefully this includes his dad and Urahara so we can see their bankai.
Anyone else get the terrible feeling Kubo is using this Bankai theft just so he doesn't have to think of ones for the other characters...
At the rate these Quincy are cleaning shop seems to be the case. Ichigo and friends, outlaws trying to retake the system. Something almost along the lines of Luffy and Pals during the ID breakout....only this would be SS's break in!Quote:

I think you guys have missed the last page, where Äs Nödt used Byakuya´s bankai to attack him! That´s at least how it looks - and I wonder how far those attacks can go...
Is anyone else disappointed by this chapter as much as I am? Seriously, so lame. I also really dislike the character Byakuya is up against but honestly, all of Bleach characters are pretty hard to like...except Isshin...maybe.
I prefer The Fear from MGS Snake Eater explanation of fear. :P
