Well damn don't go easy on them.

My dude Shunsui lost an eye and what the hell is he talking about "sooner or later someone had to be sacrificed" that better not be him, take Sajin or even Byakuya I mean there was a bit of foreshadowing of him dying with his little speech at Sasakibe funeral.

Meh, I don't mind Shunsui dying as long as Kubo show us his bankai. Any captains that have shown their bankai can die for all I care.

Good chapter, but the chaptains were pretty stupid to all use there bankai. Feel out your enemy first before using your trump card, plus they make it seem like it is there only weapon in a fight. Then Renji really made me hit myself in the head, your captain just had his bankai stolen in front of you and you want to use your's. SMH. IDIOT.

@BF: He probably meant those people who went Ban Kai before the analysis finished, thus having their Ban Kais stolen... of course, there´s a possibility he´ll die as well, but I doubt the 2nd best of SS will die (Ukitake is another issue, with his health problems...).

Though it seems they don´t necessarily annihilate everyone...but I wonder in which state those that are to be let alive are

Correct me if I'm wrong, but did the old guy fighting Shunsui is in released mode when he said "Grimaniel"? Because I saw wings and a halo over his head just like that dude Ichigo's fighting.

Speaking of Ukitake, with all the technology, healing, and Orihime they could never get rid of his sickness. Does he have AIDS or something, WTH. SMH. I would tell the research division, figure out what is wrong with me and get rid of this, and also ask the medical division's captain to figure out a cure.

Wasn´t specified what kind of an illness he has, but yeah...if Orhihime is able to "turn back time" on it, then it´d only be useful if he hasn´t been born with it!

He did. He also only used it for that moment it seems, because the halo dissipated immediately after he landed. His looks a lot more refined and less showy than that other dude's. He's also not rampantly absorbing everything...

This arc...is actually good though...feels so unnatural saying that.

Yeah, Bleach feels quite good actually. On the chapter then, I think captains that rely on bankai are pretty much screwd and except the vizard captains and Mr Kempachi I don't see them surviving at all. All Shinigami bellow captain level are dead (long range vs swords, come on that is not even a fair fight) and even if Ichigo does get the message it will be a while until he defeats that crazy quincy in HM. And when he gets to SC what is he gonna do? fight all quincy at the same time?

I guess the prediction that the Royal Guard will appear in this arc is quite probable.

I'm fine with all the captains that have used Bankai dying as long as Shunsui doesn't end up one of them after using his and if he does go it better be a damn good death lol.

At first I thought that but then I looked back at all the times they never used Bankai from the get go, they know there opponents this time around and they know they can't go in there half assed. Bankai isn't there only weapon but it is there best plus not all the captains are good at the other techniques, I mean Kenpachi only knows Zanjutsu and not all the captains know or are that good at Kidō.

After reading the Mangastream version it makes a lot more sense, he was only talking about sacrificing there Bankai so that Mayuri could get more information on how to stop it, he wasn't talking about the captains life.

Well there not god, they can't cure everything plus it's a pretty crazy illness if it can turn his hair white.
