You said it BF. DAMN these guys MEAN BUSINESS. I sure hope these are the captains other wise the power levels will get ridiculous. This is what I expected during the Arrancer arc, no way did I find it believeable that Shingami were killing hollows all that time and to finally have the power to face a captain they stand around talking. This MOFO's attack fast and hard.

Fuck, 16 locations with Sternenritter? Who are able to fodderize VC level Shinigami? Hell yeah, this is gonna get fuckin bloody (and 1000 kills in 7 minutes ).

I still can´t wait for those smug faces to be thrashed in (wonder how many the Commander will take till the Boss shows up/or if he´ll fight him directly...).

Which captains do you guys think are going to be done in? (OH FUCK, imagine Yashiru gets killed....Kenpachi´s gonna murderize everybody in his fuckin way xD And we might get to see her in action )

The problem is; why would Kube set the power level so high right from the start. None of those Quincy had even released yet, and you're telling me they can just facestomp a vice captain. I'm not complaining, I rejoiced in Kira's (hopefully) final WTF face. I just think that these guys should be able to beat every captain if they're capable of that. At least every captain who isn't Kenpachi, Byakuya, Kyoraku, Unohana, and the Old Man.

Why is Akon surprised that 1000 have died already? He should be aware of the fact that 98% of shinigami are just fodder.

Well, the fodder thing is mostly only known to us readers :P

As for your first question, there are two possibilities:
1) Kira was just really surprised, and a prepared Vice-captain could give them a fight for their money before their release

or (and this is what I actually think)

2) They got to be that strong in order for the Royal Guard (or whatever) to come help them when SS is laying in ruins...

All Quincy's have the ability to be that powerful. Power levels were established when Ishida annihilated Mayuri during the first SS arc. All these Quincy's we see now have mastered that form or exceeded it.

Not to mention if those guys are captain class disposing of a VC should not require and release (same way captain should be able to rape VC's witu just a shikai alone). Also remember the quincy have a plethora or spiritual particles to gorge themselves on. Kira's untimely demise was more as a result of a surprise attack so im guessing other VC's could hold their own again one for a while....but im hoping those guys are captain claas and would warrant SS captains as their opponents.
