Looks like nobody´s around here today

Hmm, it´s surely getting interesting now. At this pace, one could think this arc won´t take too long, but that´s probably a treacherous way of thinking xD

So if I read it right, the guy who thinks he's strong enough to beat Ichigo, thinks that Ishida is even stronger than he is?

I wonder who or what the other four weapons are

It might be he just wants to mess with Ichigo...

Yeah, that´s the big question!

Maybe Ishida is actually some sort of sleeper agent. I mean, he kind've had a half assed reason for not going to hueco mundo, putting him in a perfect position to invade soul society with the other quincies. The fact that the captain dude seemed a bit put off by Ichigo stating Uryuu was weaker makes me think this might be true (in that he expects Ishida to go all out against a shinigami, or something of the sort). Probably just crazy talk. Also, these german names sure are a mouthful.

I doubt that we've seen what Ishida can do when he goes to his final form and his father did say the only reason he lost his powers was because he wasn't ready yet. Ishida had the raw power to takeout a captain class shinigami when he wasn't ready, how much more powerful can he get.

Also if the Quincy's are in SS then there gonna be some powerful SOB remember they can gather Reishi from nearly everything in SS.

I thought that release thing that he did in soul society was power "beyond" what a human could actually do. It'd be crazy if he could change in to that form at will like the other quincies. The power levels in this manga just confuse the crap out of me

Not really it would just be to much power for him to hold for a long period of time just like a bankai.

I actually really forgot what that thing was supposed to be, I think I imagined it to be a last resort kind of thing (was presented like that, IIRC), so yeah...
But I guess Ishida is really strong, though I don´t think he should give Ichigo much trouble (which he will do anyway xD).

Wonder on which side he´ll be...

Ishida is probably another of the 5 special weapons, more than likely he is royalty on the Quincy side or a chosen one as Ichigo is. It is kind of an arse pull that these two special beings met up and are friends i.e. Naruto and Sasuke, but I will overlook that if it is the case. I mean face it how many times has it happened in movies and anime, we are friends but we must now face each other as enemies.

Ishida probably hasn't realized his true potential yet which is why his moves are weaker as the guy said. Great job capturing the German influence, even so far as to have the hair style and facial hair.

Really his reasoning wasn't that weak, it is what a normal person would do. Why am I going to go and save the existence of what I aim to destroy, no way am I going. Hey everyone lets go jump into the lions cage, pry open that lions mouth and rescue that guy. Also Ichigo really wasn't pushing for an answer it was more along the lines, you want to go, no. Cool. I will venture and say Ishida knows more than he is letting on but he doesn't know everything that is going on, regarding the invasion or the Quincies agenda.

Ishida will probably hear out the logic of the Majesty but will eventually side with Ichigo who will only side with SS because the Quincies are trying to eradicate the captains. Ichigo and Ishida will probably want both sides to settle there differences and just get along.

As much as it seems the arc might be a fourth of the way over, I would like to see various battle back and forth. The Quincy's come and invade SS, a handful of captains escape to fight another day, then they go and attack the Quincy's and rescue some captains. This is how a war takes place not go fight destroy that is a battle or a fight. Wars take place over time, short or long time and many different battles.
