It should come as no great surprise that Ishida is extremely powerful as he is from a strong bloodline. Not much is truely known about Ichigo's shinigami roots but he should be the quincy version of Ichigo in a way. I wish that Kube had focused on Chad and his origins/powers though because I have a feeling that Kube is going to fall flat on his face when it comes to explaining why the f**k there are so much Quincy when even the most intellectuals counted them as dead.

Letzt Stil....isn't that what caused Ishida to lose his power after using it on Mayuri? I wonder if that is their form of Bankai.

Unfortunately I think the closets we are going to come to Chad's roots is the arrancar arc. His Spanish heritage would have blended perfectly with the Spanish influence that obviously inspired him to create the arrancar. Hell have we even got any closure on Orihime or Tatsuki, so she can just see hollows and Ichigo's shingami outfit. No big deal huh.

The five weapons. Orihime, Chad, Ichigo, Ishida and probably Yuzu.

If it's not Yuzu it's someone I don't care to guess for.

Edit: Could totally be Yama-jii. They're headed to Soul Society to take out one weapon.

I'd be very disappointed if the 5 weapons are Ichigo and his friends....LOL

not only that, they spend the entire series being extremely weak characters and all of a sudden they get a power surge and become Deus X??

Now come on, don´t jump to conclusions guys! I can´t believe they wouldn´t notice the others being there...but still, Urahara should be up there on the list - so why isn´t he included then?
Anyway, I wouldn´t put it above Kubo to do this...but have a bit of hope!

It's always 5, isn't it? Anyway, Ichigo, Ishida, Isshin, Yamamato, Urahara.

Chad and Orihime's background are pretty much through, IMHO. Both of them are Fullbringers.Their family background just serves the purpose of specifying the type of their fullbring (present from the brother=fullbring hairpin, strong arms made to protect by the grandpa=fullbring arms). As to wy they where able to become fullbringers and Tatsuki wasn't, it's a mix between thei stronger willpower and Ichigo's presence (as explained righ before the SS arc,Ichigo's continuous lak of strong reiatsu stimulated theirs).

I don't think there's need for any more exlanation on their powers or families.
