Thread: Bleach anime to end next month

Several websites have posted the article listing the shows for next month. The Bleach anime will end its seven year run on March 27th, ending with the Fullbringer Arc. The time slot will be replaced with Naruto SD: Rock Lee No Seishun Full-Power Ninden. Rumors have already started to stir that Bleach will come back in a couple of years, similar to Inuyasha: The Final Act, to finish the final arc of the manga without filler episodes.

I think all the long running animes should do this to let the manga get some material. I mean like 90% of fillers suck and just end up driving people away. Most people don't watch the fillers anyways so the studios are just wasting money

Makes perfect sense. The actual chapters in Bleach are so drawn out with little revelations in each, that the anime has to adopt the same approach, and Bleach's anime and manga are pretty close so it makes perfect sense for it to go on hiatus. I for one dont give a rats ass about fillers anymore.

I guess i am the only one who is a little sad. I found myself enjoying the filler arcs more than the actual story.

Never watched the anime version anyway, don't care never will.

Really? It's actually really good for the most part throughout the SS arc. Some of the battles are actually awesome animated with backing music that pumps you up. I'd definitely recommend you give it a watch up to Aizens defection and when you watch it back to back knowing which episodes are filler it moves along at a decent pace too. Go on :P You owe it to yourself to give it a look.. never know, you might remember why you liked this manga in the first place.

I got so sick of the crappy story. I just took a likeing to the fight scenes. The last filler arc had the captains and such going all out. That i enjoyed.
