Thread: Bleach: Chapter 480

Also the title of the arc, "The Thousand Year Blood War", makes it pretty clear that it's going to be a fight with the quincy. It would help tie up some loose ends, not to mention they're the anti-thesis to what the shinigami do, and considering how strong Uryu is without any real training beyond the basics, I'm sure some pissed off quincies MIGHT be able to provide a real fight.

On a side note, we don't know how strong Ichigo is currently, do we?

Nope. That's kind of the point. Resetting him to an arbitrary point lets them climb back up a bit before bringing out the godmen.

Kubo kind of made it hard for himself because he created Aizen. Aizen could have been a powerful character with his Zanpakuto ability alone but he never used it. Instead he turned Aizen into a diety like figure and gave Ichigo that kind of power. It's kind of hard to come up with quality villains after that

Ahh, that just seems so weak. I guess it's the only thing that makes sense though. Let's try to keep some open minds on this arc. We've already made it this far, so might as well attempt to enjoy it, right?

Let's just wait til Kubo pulls Aizen out of jail for no apparent reason before we start griping....

Why would we gripe about that? You don't throw someone into jail unless you're going to have to break them out.

I didn't really like this chapter persay, like seriously I am 90-95% betting that those kids will not be the focal point of this arc and Kube just wanted to show them getting f**ked up just so he could contrast their skill with Ichigo's for great "WOW" effect, but at that case I didn't like how he focused on them for the whole chapter to have them meet such an anti-climatic end. Regardless of his total waste of a chapter (like seriously guys besides seeing Mayuri's new styling Gaga look and the STRONGLY IMPLIED HINT that the Quincy are in the next arc everything else in this chapter was pointless right?) I am looking forward to this arc. If its about the Quincy, as it seems to be, then we'll get to see them at a level equal, or more than likely Higher, than that of Ishida's dad. I found it hard to believe that EVERY SINGLE QUINCY was wiped out..... unless of course they were a small sect of people (which would make it completely possible). I am excited but I am always expecting the worst out of Kube so I hope he explains how the Quincy managed to lay for so long, if they do reemerge and show up in great numbers that is.

So bottom-line friends hold on to your skepticism of Kube's writing but at least we could hold on to the hope that its the last arc and that there's a lot that will be revealed...... o yea doesn't a part of this arc supposed to focus on Chad and possibly the origins of his abilities or something?

Just reread Yu Yu, and you will have the ending to Bleach. I can't for this shitty Manga to be over. Damn my ocd.

A part of it might focus on Chad for a little i mean look how long the Arrancar arc was. After reading REPEAT & REBOOT he's going to be showing the back story to a lot of the Gotei 13 and he also said in another past interview that he wanted to do another turn back the pendulum to show all the other Captains and VC, which I wouldn't mind because TBtP was a nice mini story.

Yeah, those might be interesting. I´m looking forward to a nice closure of it all!
