Not too worked up about this chapter. Did any battle-smarts Ichigo had drain away with his reiatsu?

His latest fullbring opponent seemed like an obvious knock-off of Lenalee Lee's Dark Boots. Raiding other manga for ideas, not cool.

Agreed with you on the boots. I wonder from which manga will the mangaka 'copy' the power next. Probably from all the popular manga in Jump. How about one piece? or DB?

Guys, remember, it´s not like he´s copying other mangas, it´s just that almost all powers imaginable by humans have already been used in manga

Yeah, I know there is nothing new under the sun, and Dark Boots, Dirty Boots, Boots made for walkin', have all been around for ever. The mangaka are cribbing off of Chinese literature from the Warring States and Three Kingdoms periods, but jeez, a little more effort would go a long way. There are other methods of expressing speed than fetish boots. Like crotchless pantsu.
