No it wasn't, the problem was that the Quincy's never purified hollows in the first place because they thought they were evil so they would just kill them, but they can purify them if they want. Also didn't Ishida take away that Arrancar powers without killing her so if he can do that he must be able to purify a soul.Originally Posted by BlueDemon

Nothing happened judging by the spoiler and it seems just *meh*, but i'll wait till the actual chapter comes out. All I can really comment on is how strikingly similar that guy in the last picture is to Aizen. Its too early to say if he has any connection to Aizen or not... but I wouldn't hold it past Kube to spark a connection between the 2 though.

He sealed her Arrancar powers, the same way he did to that one shinigami in Soul Society and the same way Byakuya attacked Ichigo at the beginning. I suppose he could seal Hollows' reiryoku too since he said they're all similar but it still leaves them alive...
Like a typical government, Soul Society doesn't care Ishida is killing hollows because he's just one Quincy and it's only in Karakura Town.

Soul Society has shown over and over that they are a petrified bureaucracy, decadent and incompetent. Karakura town is merely the navel of creation, no big deal.
