When you're as cocky as Aizen is, you underestimate your opponents to the point of thinking you don't need to be on guard.

Guys, are you actually going back and forth calling each other...kiddo? I mean, common guys, just let it go. Also yeah Gin killed Aizen, but then he came out saying: "that won't work". Remember when Ichigo was all cocky against Byakuya, and then he got tired because he lacked training, well that could essentially happen here too. So let's see how the story plays out, just that.

When he explained that Ichigo failed in evolution... honestly, I don't know how to make this more simple. Is reading comprehension really this hard?

Aizen, like many villains in this manga, is extremely cocky. For example,

How did Rukia kill Aaroniero if he DIDN'T HAVE HIS GUARD DOWN and was EXTREMELY COCKY? And since she killed him, does that mean she's stronger than most of the VCs because she took out an Espada? Because using your logic, she is.

Hisagi killed Tousen when Komamura could not. DOES THAT MEAN HISAGI IS STRONGER THAN KOMAMURA? No, because Tousen was COCKY AND UNGUARDED.

How much more facts can I give before you start reading and realize your arguments have no merit. Ichigo is not stronger than Yamamoto because he touched an unguarded Aizen, while not in hypnosis.

And yet he was. Aizen was surprised at Gin's true ability, now tell me if he was prepared, why would he be surprised? Aizen is smart, but not a mind reader, how would he know WHEN Gin would betray him?

I get the feeling that Ichigo will kill Aizen but only to have Aizen reborn by taking over Inoue's body. Maybe that's why that arrancar said that she belongs to them already.
