Ever since we saw a middle school aged Gin with a Bloody sword in front of a couple dead shinigami I expected something darker out of Gin as well. He was claimed to be the killing genius protege even at a tender age for God sake.

Yea, everyone pretty much called the chapter to be like this so no surprise there. Aizen just got knocked down but now he's up so he's about to put the hurt on Gin. Now... the ONLY question I have is whether or not Gin will unleash, or even possess, a Hollow form like Tousen did? Or would we see him fight futile with his now obsolete bankai all the while as Aizen lectures him about he sensed Gin's betrayal ever since he was a little boy being potty trained -_-? O and another thing, that flashback with Gin where he saw the Shinigami bowing to Aizen or w/e then the other 1 where he saw a beaten rape victim Rangiku in the forest (yea im sure she was raped) was it Aizen who did it to her as well?

If Aizen knew that Gin was going to betray him, I can't really see him giving Gin Hollow powers.

On the contrary I can see him giving Gin "defective" Hollow powers/Hollow abilities that are incomplete and would eff him up hardcore if he would ever use it against Aizen. I wouldn't be surprised if he did the same for tousen's in the event that he rebelled. Aizen seems like the type of person that would give you a gun but then put a microchip in it so that any bullets from it fired at himself would turn to dust or some crappy fail safe mechanism like that. As this chapter shows, anything goes in Bleach -_-.

Like I said last week, Gin actually after Hogyoku.

I know Bleach isn't always good but that was one really boring chapter, I mean KT could have done that in less then half a chapter if he wanted too, and what's up with Aizen new look.

From the clever, yet petty, proverbial "stab in the back" to the flee from the scene of the crime quickly and hide behind a wall Gin has just been brought down from being a killing genius badass to an envious sniveling little boy thief, LMAO. So after all this time Gin was just in it for himself. Seeing Gin's true nature makes me wonder about Tousen too. He talked a lot about Justice and all that shit but was his true devotion for Aizen brought upon in the hopes that Aizen's power could grant him sight?

And roflmfao@ Flash. Butteraizen I choose you!!! Gin and Aizen even had a pokeball connection thing going with the Hougyoku in his hands then *FLASH* of light release thing.

You're right, this week I feel like I just read it 10 pages but it happen to be the last page when I thought it was 10.

Gin saying its over and trying to crush Hoguyoku doesn't make him "an envious sniveling little boy thief". Not to say that I like this simplification of Gin's mystery.

If Aizen is so (even more) powerful now he will finish Gin in one blow. Another character wasted. Makes me think it was another author altogether writing the build-up and the Soul Society arc. Kubo probably only did the drawings back then. But he killed the man (Ziggy Stardust) and wrote us the Hueko Mundo arc and this war.

I hope Gin survives and that we learn - after so many things were left unexplained - if there is some link between Hoguyoku and the "rape" of Matsumoto.

He just had it in his hand and it didn't look like Gin was trying to crush it as an act of self righteousness. In his flashbacks Kube emphasized how much Gin coveted the round object and how it influenced Aizen's subordinates. In Gin's eyes (as a little boy) the mysterious round objects gave Aizen so much power and status over his subjects that Gin even referred to him as "The Boss" so more than likely he wanted that power too, which would mean he would have to Kill the person that owns it so he could steal it for himself. Then when Aizen says "Its already mines" that solidifies that its all about possession of the Hougyoku and that Gin will never have it. The way he grabs it from Aizen, avoids getting grabbed by him, looks back at the "dying" Aizen and hides behind the wall is just like a little boy stealing a toy or something from middle school, lol. "OOO shiny ball... MY BALL" *Runs off*.
