While the old man/young man analogy makes sense considering the chapter, logically shouldn't it be the other way round? Old man would have more controlled power than a young man who is wilder. You know, how in our youth we're a lot crazier but as we age, we calm down and settle.

But that's how Kubo has decided to play it out. Shit writing, but hey, that was never his forte.

Bankai (Compressed raw power) = Tesa Zangetsu - with all his power compressed in a much younger body.

Or think about Majin Buu and Baby Buu. The adult 1 was powerful and older looking but it's final form was a teeny tiny, dont f**k with near unstoppable force to behold.

While the tiny Buu was the last boss and the most merciless one of Buu, he was a weak Buu. He loss all of the power that he absorbed so far and cause him to reverse to his first form.

Vegeta and Goku are stupid enough to think that a first from of Buu is weak and he fight alone with no others power to help. So they destroy a pottora to fight one-on-one too. But neither of them stronger than a tiny Buu.

Oh no, I read the explanation provided by black flash before I posted. I just thought it'd make more sense if the older version would be more controlled and powerful than the younger who is still learning to control their power and honing their skills.

But seeing as Bleach borrows from DBZ so much, it makes more sense now.

I really don't care about the young and old Zangetsu, I am more mystified by how one move is going to save the day for Ichigo.

And boom goes the dynamite. As I stated before, explanation for the Zangetsu aside, im not gonna accept it if this new move Ichigo learns turns out to be some krazy unstoppable force beyond skull f**king belief. Aizen was afraid of 1 thing and 1 thing alone and that was Yama-Jii's Bankai so it dont really think I could handle Ichigo's Bankai being on that level.
