I think its refreshing that in Gin, bleach finally has a character with such a flexible, but yet useful bankai post SS-byakuya though I fear Ichigo's will get a plot hole power up on his even though it is long coming, the method will be what is truly annoying(inner-world again).

I think Ichigo wil get another powerup to his zanpactou too.
I already posted this idea but i don't think anyone saw it.
I don't think ichigo has actually achieved true bankai yet.
I think that his "shikai" is actually an incomplete form of his zanpaktou and he is using the "bankai state" to temporarily reach his sealed or unreleased zanpaktou.
His first zanpaktou, (the one he got from rukia) was compared to a practice sword and easily broken by byakuya. Maybe that's exactly what it was.
When he awakened his own powers, his zanpaktou looks like an unfinished sword. Maybe that's what it was because ichigo's power was raw and unfinished. A Zanpaktou represents it's owners power right?

I think as he grows his bankai will become his unreleased zanpactou all the time, and he will get a real shikai and bankai. He'll pretty much have to if he wants to go up against aizen or any vastolordes.

anyway it's just a theory. and somebody may have already thought of it.

Something has me thinking; in Page 5, Gin doesn't seem he is smiling (to me at least, not sure if it was done on purpose or if its my artist side complaining) so I don't get why the "Smiling Devil" part unless its to confuse us or just refering to Gin overall.

As for Page 16, Gin's thought pattern seems strange to me; doesn't seem he is worried about the fight with Ichigo but more as if he is placing a plan on his own into action. Isn't it strange for Kubo to actually show us the thoughts of a villian at this point?

Bleach is literally 80% talks, 15% fights and 5% art. Seriously, there can't just be an outcome? I don't really think Isshin is great just because Aizen was hurt. I'm not completely doubting him..it's just Yama already messed Aizen up pretty badly.

And if Kubo really wants to have talking go on so much in his manga then let Isshin talk for an entire chapter and explain shit. There's too much bullshit talk between the characters that it's like a soap opera.

Maybe there really is a flaw to Aizen's shikai. Maybe the flaw is, if Aizen releases his shikai in front of someone already under his hypnosis, it removes the hypnosis? It'd be ironic, seeing how there's no reason in the first place to re-hypnotize someone and the only situation that would merit this would be if you were fighting people not under hypnosis and under hypnosis, with the former being more dangerous.

It'd explain why he hasn't used his ability on Ichigo or Isshin, because who knows who else could be watching. Unohana, Urahara, other captains that are still alive (They're all still alive...)

Maybe it's pointless to discuss literary values of manga, which I kept on doing, but look at what Kubo is doing. He gave Aizen such as cheap trick to give himself freedom in writing the story. That's just his shikai; I dont even think Aizen needs to have bankai (as ppl keep wondering what it would be). So for the same purpose, Kubo must try his best not to point out any secret about that sword; any weakness would limit how hack it is.

Well, at least Gin's bankai is along what I hoped for. It's doesnt matter the number (all things are relative) 500x or what. His moves are fast and strong, period. (saying it like that is reducing the creativity, but a sword can be fast, not the person, that's kinda out of the imagination). So far I dont see anything unlikable about Gin to not cheer for him (well, maybe only his problem of not wanting ppl to be more creepy than him). Whatever Kubo, I hope you get laid more than I(we) do; thats the only way you can own me (us) cuase this story sucks big donkey balls.
Killing time while waiting for the next chapter. OnePiece, that is.

My guess on Gin's ressurection is a cobra/snake/serpent.

    http://www.mangatoshokan.com/read/Bleach/Maximum7/145/7

Gin has always been described as the sly, slippery serpent that strikes fast and recoils just as quickly. It would make sense that he has the serpent personality, as even his words have venom charged in it. When a snake strikes it strikes extremely fast and with precision, which I believe Gin has.

It would actually surprise me that he would be a fox, rather than something serpentine.
