it must be that Kubo isnt getting paid enough, so he is making every instance of his manga lamer than it potentially should be. Or the guy simply runs out of creativity (which i dont have, but i know a good piece of work when i see it.)

There is really no point in such a bankai when you are fighting headon with a shinigami. For killing lots of hollows, sure! It's rather like a gun really, maybe even better. But its use is limitted. Maybe a couple more chapters, then Ill call it quit.

yes, exactly. it's fucking annoying!
shure, it's a common shonen cliche, but i've never seen anyone use it as much as kubo does.
It's like he has no idea at which point repetition becomes blatant and frustrating.

13 km that's about 8 miles right, tell me something how the fu*k does he see 8 miles away and he can't be holding that thing because the weight of it after stretching that far would be to much to handle, even controlling it would be hard.

Ichigo should just run and let the blade follow him then at the last minute shunpo behind Gin, lets see how fast the blade can come back before Ichigo cuts him down.

Since Isshin has showed up Ichigo has got his resolve back, because the spoiler makes it sound like he doesn't give a shit about the bankai from the way he stands there, then blocks and then Getsuga Tensho Gin in the face.

The only way this could redeem itself is if that's not all there is to Gin's bankai. I think Gin is sneaky enough to not reveal everything about his bankai to his opponent. now if TK realizes that is a different story.

Technically having just been on a plane you can see much farther than 8 miles if you look straight up. Since theses are the same people that walk on air there is no telling what direction they will fight. I was able to see the ground at 12000 feet in the air. Sigh why am I trying to explain such foolishness hopefully this is a April Fools joke, in bad form.

Wow. And to think I was looking forward to seeing his bankai. What an epic dissapointment =/

Could this perhaps be the biggest disappointment if this is his only bankai ability, some how I doubt it is those for a genius like him to have only one ability. Escpecially since Byakuya has multiple moves with his sword and he became a captain after Gin.
