Fricken mashiro has the best control over her mask.......like seriously so Kube means to tell me that the Vizards had 100+ years to train yet they could only hold their form for about 3 mins?? Of course Aizen is gonna be the strongest but Tousen and Gin both should be on a higher level than 2 or 3 Vizards put together.

Bottom line in my book is that Kube fuked up big time when he made the Vizards pathetic.

The thing I don't understand is I remember it being said that mashiro could have her mask out for 15 hours... and then it goes and breaks only after using a little bit of ability?

The vizards were definitely given the shaft by kubo. They should have at least been above the captains at the fight, and beaten most of the arrancar a lot more than what the captains were able to do. Kubo had second thoughts it seems.

Well the Mashiro part is understandable, when your fighting someone above your level the mask will only last so long because of there reiatsu.

The part about being above the captains, well that depends on what you mean by above.

Ugh the Vizards just keep being made to look lamer. Now it seems we're going to see a complete, Hougyoku-made Vizard from Tousen?

From what we've seen from the Vizards, it's like their powers can be symbolized by a piece of crap. It doesn't matter if you've trained for a hundred years, you're still holding a piece of crap.

Well, we were made to believe early on that hybrids were stronger than either respective level of shinigami or hollow, where the difference between a short-lived arrancar and the hollow level it was before was so great, then a captain level shinigami turned vizard with a 100 years to grow in strength should be something really impressive with or without the mask on, considering the reiatsu potential has no ceiling.

I understand that the older captains have been around for a long time and are naturally strong due to experience, but there shouldn't be such a visible gap between their and the vaizard's abilities. Just a few gillians shouldn't exhaust any power or take time at all, and the arrancar shouldn't represent as much trouble as they did.

It was just bad writing and wrongful character creation (as in don't make characters that look real badass and have them possess no value).

You see that's the thing the Vizards where never claimed to be more powerful then the Captains, this was made even more clear when Aizen called them fakes, it was only stated that there is no limit to the growth of a shinigami with hollow powers. Hitsugaya on the other hand did say that 10 VL could bring down SS, the thing is that none of the Espada have been said to be a VL the only one that probably is, is WW who is taking on a Vizard in Bankai while he is still unreleased.

I think I said this a couple of weeks ago when Aizen first called the Vizards fake, there must be a limit to there power because there not perfect, where as Ichigo is that's why he's growth is faster then there's and why he seems to be the only one who's mask keeps changing.

it's almost like Aizen stopped their growth at that point when they were 'killed' by him. rather than giving them power bonuses.

fake is a good way of saying "time limit", because the arrancar have no time limit, while the vaizard do. even ichigo has the time limit to some extent, though when fighting grimmjow it seemed like he held it way over 3 minutes... although we don't know how long it really was.

When Ichigo fought Grimm and Ulqui both his mask showed some form of limitation, particularly when he was struck by powerful attacks (whether it completely broke off or started "chipping" a lil) but when they both taunted him about it he would defiantly respond then proceed to Recreate it again.

The power levels are kinda getting outta control xD
