Yeah but I wouldn't read to much into that Kenpachi can pretty much cut anything once his warmed up, his strength relies solely on raw power where as Byakuya is about overwhelming people with blades.

In the beginning, I don't think Kubo ever imagined his story to continue after Soul Society arc. And you know what? It frickin' shows!

Nope he used all or close to all his reiatsu when fighting Byakuya, don't forget Aizen wanted to see how much he could grow and since coming to HM he has gotten stronger, after his new hollow transformation his reiatsu has been pushed over captain level.

That's why the new mask doesn't feel right, he's last mask worked on captain level reiatsu this one doesn't. It needs reiatsu above that but because he wasn't at full power he's attack was to weak and he couldn't use it for a second time.

^That makes sense. His reiatsu levels having to match the mask's level makes sense, considering his mask always dissolved anyway when he tried to summon it when he was weak, last time.

Actually this chapter wasn't bad, but I'm disappointed that Unohana seemed to shocked...I'm hoping it's because she just underestimated his power and not because he's stronger than her or anything...if anything I'm hoping Unohana can totally outclass Ichigo and even Aizen if not for Aizen's hypnosis ability. The concept of healing physical wounds and reiatsu hasn't been put forward before, if I remember correctly...anyone remember them mentioning it earlier? Though I guess it makes sense, in Soul Society if your wounds get healed it doesn't mean you can fight immediately, I guess that just like us, healing wounds doesn't mean we're less tired or anything.

The whole bankai outfit thing doesn't sound so ridiculous now...it does sorta make sense that since it's part of his bankai it indicates his level of reiatsu. We do know that if your reiatsu isn't high enough you can't retain your bankai. I suppose his clothes are like Hitsugaya's ice flowers, they disintegrate slowly to indicate your power levels. But then shouldn't Ichigo's outfit just regenerate if it's blasted in the middle of a fight...

Oh and putting Byakuya and Kenpachi together is just genius, really good for once. It's a good way to deal with Leftover Espada Yammy, turn him into the big joke and have them disregard him completely.

So Unohana will be busy repairing Ichigo's reiatsu (doujinshi, anyone?) and by the time they arrive she will say smth like "Oh, it was so big I cannot fight now"....

She could then proceed to use the last of her remaining powers to save from the brink of death those who were just pwned by Aizen.

Now if she does not fight Aizen it means that either the manga does not end there or it does and we never get to see her fight.

I think he means since Ichigo didn't loose any of his clothes in the fight that he didn't use that much reiatsu.

Exactly.

Which kinda tells that the whole cloth-reiatsu-indicator thingy wasn't invented untill at some point during HM arc.

I know it's quite rude to ask but .... Do we have an "official" version of the latest chapters just like from 001 - 376?
I know i'm new here and don't have any contribution yet but I love bleach alot.

Interesting about the Clothes-reiatsu thing, makes sense but its obviously an asspull from Kubo.

I also dont think Unohana will be fighting Aizen, I think she's only there so Kubo wont have to kill off any of the Soul Reapers and Vizard that got and get pwnd.

Ichigo is the one who can fight Aizen on even grounds thanks to his huge Vizard reiatsu and he has not witnessed Aizen's Shikai yet. Of course I'm pretty sure he eventually will and Kubo will do a second asspull saying Ichigo can break the hypnosis because of the afforementioned Vizard reiatsu
