I never really hope for anything in Bleach because it really is pointless, but that giant caterpillar best turn into a f*#king butterfly and start smashing and bashing shit up, he best do a god damn Ichigo and compresse all that strength into a smaller body and tear everyone a new one, just so Unohana can get some screen time.

Sorry if I sound a little pissed off but I think it's long over do.
Like I said, maybe Kubo is trying to hold Ichigo down because he made him too strong? because he's made Ichigo's bankai look like a shikai(and Ichigo is supposed to have a really high reiatsu?) now u add a mask and a bankai, and captains with shikais are still outclassing him? that's just unreal.
I think the biggest mistake he made was Aizen defeating Ichigo so easily just after he had accomplished Bankai....

^ More like i think the biggest mistake he made was making Aizen seem so untouchable and perfect. I cant remember the last time we've seen Aizen without his condesending smirk. Even Madara in naruto seems more beatable than Aizen, and Madara's a krazy strong mofo.

Giving Ichigo more power too fast is what Kube doesn't want to promote. He's already go the whole superman "I have to save you" work ethic and the Matrix' Neo being "The One" thing going on so to add those 2 components = a damn near unstoppable force, AKA Goku. I was never into DBZ but knowing that there was a superman to save the day, even though Goku died a couple times, it left little to no room for surprise. Kube wants to emphasize that ichigo has the latent potential to be the greatest but he's still young and needs time to grow so he shows us little spurts of his ability ever now and then via hollow transformations and power ups etc just to make us remember. Chances are when he fights Aizen or someone above Ulqui's level (god forbid he introduces a new set of enemies under Aizen's control, AKA possible Vaste Lorde Army) then he'd be able to prolong the use of this new mask, which by that time wouldn't be as awesome as it is now because the enemy would be so strong that even in his new mask ichigo'd still get whooped around.

When something just comes out for Ichigo its to top shit, like how his Bankai was supper cool when he fought Bya, but as time goes by that once glitchy and sparkly clean trait is just dulled. First his Shikai was rare and badass, then his Bankai, now his mask. The trump card he has his Hichigo. Once that krazy mofo is still ok then theres always a chance that ichigo, if faced with death, can go ape shit and survive. Its predictable but its always so fun to watch him go berzerk

"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"

Im watching the filler anime, and this chapter Byakuya appears, I realize something that cracks me up: he talks about his pride constantly, and he fights using sakura petals. 'Nough said.

You know, DBZ got repetitive as it went on, but it was more real than these guys in Bleach. I mean specifically the sense of confidence they all share. Nobody thinks: "gee I dont know if i can do this. Well, what do you know. I tried my best and I did it." Although we already know the good guys should win in the end. Just aint right to always be so badass. Thats why Krilin was always my fav character in DBZ.
Killing time while waiting for the next chapter. OnePiece, that is.

Its not that. Bleach always tried to be cool and flashy. But as the story went on, I guess Kubo ran out of flashy material and as a result the manga got repetitive and downright shitty. But aren't mangaka assistants supposed to tell a mangaka these kind of things or are they more worried about getting fired?
