Sorry in advance for talking about something unrelated but why is Naruto suicide worthy Ziazca?
Bleach on the other hand...
Barragan's power bite him in the ass, typical but whatever that fight is done, I want to see Lisa Vs Harribel next specially for the fanservice xD
I was just reminiscing.

That and when I started seeing Hot Topic crap. Oh let's not forget there was this one time some girl came up to me and asked me if I knew what 愛 meant (she was drawing it on her arm in class) and I said it's the chinese character for 'love', she got all offended and said "No, it's the japanese kanji for love!" Aaaanyway for some reason Naruto (and a lot of its fans) annoyed the hell out of me and I stopped reading it.
Then somewhere along Shippuden I guess, I began reading Naruto again after a friend summarized what had happened up to that point and told me to check it out. I did and I find it fascinating how the story became so much better and continues to get better.
With Bleach it was more like, it began as an interesting story, kept going up, higher and higher, then it hit the fucking ceiling and started falling. In its descent, it attempts to flail about and flap its wings to keep in the air but barely manages that.
There's just something about Bleach nowadays, like this chapter for example, sure it's cool how Hachi beats Barragan, but the method is just... there could've been so many better ways for this fight to have resolved, or many of the other fights, for that matter. It's bad writing and it is really disappointing to see Bleach deteriorate to this level. I follow along out of habit and because I want to see how it all ends. If KT continues his trend of bad writing, I guarantee the ending will be more or less,
Aizen and all the bad guys die, all of the good guys live. The End.
^ I concur. Nice use of imagery there as well Z "In its descent, it attempts to flail about and flap its wings to keep in the air but barely manages that." Shakespeare couldn't have put it any better himself. lol.
"He is now declaring his words to the WORLD!"
Yeah, I definitely agree. Naruto comes off like it was mostly (mostly) planned out, but Bleach seems...a bit more spontaneous. Sure, the mangakas need to change course during the story sometimes due to ratings and all, but that's supposed to make it better, not worse. I don't think people edit Bleach a lot. Kubo uses all the same hooks for his fights - they all either end with a "cool" ending with something really cool and/or flashy, or a "resolve" ending where the losing one somehow musters up some strength and wins (this is usually ichigo). I don't have much of a problem with it in general, but the "cool" thing could be done better. I usually prefer when someone actually wins with a PLAN once in a while, rather than just pull out some unheard-of technique all of a sudden. And the "resolve" one is way too overplayed. There are better ways to put it.
A lot of my favourite fights were during the SS arc. Each fight was somewhat original in some way (back then, at least). Ichigo vs. Renji, Ichigo vs. Zaraki, Ichigo vs. Byakuya, Ishida vs. Mayuri. All decent fights. The only recent fight that was decent is...Byakuya vs. Espada no.7 (i actually forgot his name...something with a Z. Odd.). And that's only cause I can't remember the others really well, and because Byakuya hasn't fought in a while, so it's original(er).
Even if Hachi couldn't have teleported the death-breath itself, the only reason he lost his arm (which he'll undoubtedly get back later) was to make the fight seem difficult and meaningful because he, as a kido user, had to sacrifice his own arm to defeat the enemy, but as I said before, it really is meaningless because he WILL get his arm back.
He could've just as easily used his coat, Soi Fon's shoe she kicked off, or some other article of clothing. Except his bow-tie, his bow-tie is actually indestructible.
Edit: A Barragan vs. Orihime battle would've been funny...

^^Only to see Orihime scream "Kurosaki-kun!" for 20 panels and finally have her disintegrate away.
^ Orihime's powers are the opposite of Barracan. It'd be a match of ageing(disintegration) vs. denying(reversing effect). Honestly it dosent sound too interesting...
No? But it'd seriously piss off Barragan to see some ditzy human girl with the power to defy his god-like ability. I just like seeing people who are full of themselves snap and completely lose it. :3
