Because everyone is misunderstood. Except that one guy
It seems that this is how most stories go these days
When the first Arrancar and started speaking Spanish, and Chad naming his arms and everything in spanish, I started to feel like there was a connection...
Then, when Urahara was talking about his powers, and again inside Hueco Mundo, My suspicions were confirmed.
There is just one thing I do not understand...
Chad seems like he's right handed(You even see him regress to using the "right arm of the giant"insdtead of using the "left arm of the devil" while fighting the execquias), so it appears that he can control his powers quite well now.
There are a few things I don't get however...
If he can control the way his hands manifest, why not stick the shield onto his left arm?
Also, against the ExEspada, when he unveiled the "left arm of the Devil", He seemed to be able to catch up to the ExEspada. I've been wondering about that the whole time...
Seeing as how he has hollow powers and everything... Is it possible for him to use Sonido?
He can most likely use some form of Sonido or Shunpo. Most likely Sonido because of his hollow traits. As for being able to have his powers switch between arms to compensate for his dominant arm, IDK. Maybe he can't really do that yet. He doesn't have full control of his powers and I'm fairly certain that those arms are not the final form. But I don't think he's right handed. His Right Arm of the Giant is still just as powerful as it was before it became a shield. PLUS he's been using it to attack since the beginning of the series so he probably just needs more training and was probably just using it out of habit.
good point though max
Which one though...
The spansih connection? Sonido? Or the Changing of arms?
I don't think so...
It doesn't appear he can use the left arm of the devil while using right arm of the giant's (Due to a lack of a better term...) "second" form...
Also, looking carefully, the punch from his right arm is WAY weaker than that hit that he does with his left arm of the devil(you know... The one that makes a skull behind the target on impact), although it probably works as an area of effect attack(Like a cero) while the attack from his left arm probably works like a supercharged bara(A single target attack)

No. It would honestly be, no offense, just plain stupid if he couldn't use his right arm of the giant second form. Even as a shield it's still powerful and still capable of energy blasts. His left arm is stronger sure but it doesn't take away from the power of his right. PLUS it only looked like it was weaker because comparatively it is against strong opponents.
It was a good point on the his being able to switch arms. If he could anyways.
Also I very much doubt that his La Muerte attack is the final arsenal of his left arm. It was his first fight. He will probably get something closer to his El Directo shot to go into his left arm.
Honestly it just doesn't make sense for the power to go down just because it's a shield considering that it never really relied on punching power anyways. Just energy blasts.
His right never decreased in power it just wasn't enough.
Yea, I was just figuring how kubo is not the most creative when it comes to storylines (as we have seen thus far) and he has shown the use of the same plotline twice now. I just felt that the hell concept in bleach was way too unclear, maybe its all just wishful thinking....
Hehehehe... Did anyone here play Fable? You know, (FABLE SPOILER) when you kill Jack of Blades and discover that his true form is in "hell" and you have to go there to kill him again before he ressurect? (/FABLE SPOILER) They could do something similar to Aizen... OK, that's really going too far... But I really want to see Hell on Bleach...
