    Naruto dumped us with the 80+ filler right before the time skip to give the manga some ground, the problem with Bleach is that they didn't wait til the end of major events to bung some fillers in.
    Imagine Ichigo and Ulquiorra calling a timeout on their fight just so some fillers can be put in.

    Yea... because they fights in Bleach aren't as long and "epic" as naruto's. Plus theres more emotions and personal reflections etc in Naruto battles.

    O yea it makes sense the bad guy for this arc's name is Muramasa. Wasn't he, in Japanese folklore/culture, a leagendary swordsmith?

    Ok I know zambimaru is the girl with green fur and chains.

    But i still don't see who the girl below and to the left of her with short pink hair, oversized white and yellow sleeves. and what looks like chicken legs is.

    ^ That is the snake spirit portion of Zabimaru, since zabimaru is a chimera Baboon and Snake.

    Short explanation of Muramasa is he was a legendary swordsmith but he was legendary because of the myths that involved him. It's said that the blade he crafted was essentially evil and cut whatever it touched no matter what. Also the blade thirsted for blood. Almost literally. I wouldn't be surprised to hear Kubo threw in Masamune as well, who is another legendary swordsmith. He has nothing to do with Muramasa but they're often blended in with one another because their legends are contrasted. Masamune's blades are the good version basically.
