Poor Renji got beat down yet again, and his zanpakuto too.

Must say though, the action has really been stepping up a notch in quality, I like it and hope it goes over to the non-filler story as well.

I don't know how long the fillers are supposed to be, but... Byakuya's pride has always been Rukia (think back to what he said to Espada #7 for turning his blade on her). I'm sure he did it to draw them out. Since they have to fight then 1v1, he got a bunch of them out, so they can all be defeated quickly. Of course, all those block ops red shirts are going to die, but when do they ever do anything useful? It's gotten so bad that only Capt's and Leut's can kill anything anymore.

FINALLY!! the anime will soon be on track with the manga. Let's just hope the ending of this filler wont lead to another filler, since its catching up to the manga. ~_~
