Hate against Zanpakuto [spoiler]

Okay, lately, it was Kusagi, then it was Soi Fon, and I'm pretty sure there's about a billion people that hate theirs too and they seem to just be really whiney about their swords. Any ideas why Kubo seems to be doing this to everyone?

I mean srsly, Mayuri treats his like a slave, Kenpachi's hates him, I'm mildy sure that Kira wants his to cut himself because dislikes it, WHY DOES EVERYONE HAVE SUCH ANIMOSITY TOAWRDS THEIR SWORDS?!?!?

More importantly, why does noone love their Zanpakuto at all?

actually, wouldn't it be ironic is Love is the only one who loves his Zanpakuto?

^ Well... Ikkuku doesn't fully likes his, cause he calls it lazy and unbefitting of his energetic personality and Ikkaku's metrosexual friend finds his sword stubborn.

Hate is a very strong word. The only person that openly HATES their Zanpaktou would be Hisagi. Soi Fong doesn't like using her Bankai but she seems extremly fond of her Shikai and if u want to use the word love then the only person that i would put in that category would be Renji. Just because he always comments on the fact that if he over uses Zabimaru he'd be hurting it, showing that he cares.

The reason Shinigami have such personified relationships with their Zanpaks are because their swords are actual living entities and not just pieces of metal.

As the saying goes "beggars can't be choosers" and "you can't always get what you want". They have no choice in what they get so therefor many of them have reason to not liking them. Hisagi dislikes the shape of his weapon because it is shaped like something meant to take life, which is true because his is the closets to looking like a Scythe. But even tho he hates it's shape he is extremely proficient in using it.

In a sense wouldn't you have to be profienceint in using it at the level they are. I mean Kenpanchi is profienceint in using his in only one way, but still is. It seems that after using there swords for so long that they would eventually learn to love it, otherwise quit complaining about it. Almost reminds me of someone complaining about there car but not buying a new one or trying to do anything to make it better, in there case try and learn another move that your sword possesses that you do like.

You've always wanted a mercedes, since young, you've dream about it, craved it. You think it looks great, suits your personality of a repectable business man.
But you got a sporty BMW... and worse, you're stuck with it, forever...

You might use it, and use it really well, it wont change the fact that you wanted that mercedes and would have prefered that over your BMW. Thats just how it works.

It's like a person who finds assassination theme cool and amazing, then gets a healing type sword...
