Bleach: Chapter 355

Here's a recap, a much weaker Ichigo drawed with kenpachi with a mere shikai...
Ichigo with a basic bankai and black getsuga defeated Byakuya's ultimate move...

Now Ichigo gets his assed wiped by Grimgow a no.6 arrancar using Bankai and hollow mask?! That fight lasted ages before Ichigo found "resolve" to beat Grimgow. So if a number 6 can fight on a much more powered Ichigo, numbers 5 and bellow should be wiping the floor with the captains. Unless there are huge gaps of power between the captains, they are pretty much boned.

Also how come Ichigo can barely take on Grimgow (6), but Kenpachi can take on number 5?! Shouldnt their levels be about the same? Was Kenpachi really going easy on Ichigo back then?! There is much inconsistency with power ratings in Bleach, that its confusing... Either Kenpachi's "kendo" is THAT much stronger, or he was toying with Ichigo back then, or both.

As many have claimed, Vaizards should be above the captains since they WERE captains before, and found a NEW strength which they managed to overpower... Although I doubt that a single vaizard can take on Yamato- who has been a Captain long before anyone...

And I don't think the Vaizards will fight the Captains, it was Aizen who caused them to be kicked out of soul society, etc... So it's pretty clear that their main target would be Aizen.

^ the inconsistent level thing has been brought up countless times already. The most we can say is that Kenpachi has been training and at the time Ichigo was already drained from fighting Grimmjow.

You speak as if Ichigo is much more powerful then all the captains, therefore they shouldn't be able to win. Now i'm not saying there gonna win and i'm not saying there gonna lose but Ichigo only has strength and speed something most of the captains have and for the top tier captains they have something that Ichigo doesn't, skill and Experience.

Kenpachi was going all out on Ichigo....with one hand. Look how strong he was with just one hand now with two he should be double that...so yes Kendo is that much stronger, plus it was already said that the captains would be preparing for the war.

^True, but I refer more to Ichigo barely matching Grimgow, and Kenpachi easily matching number 5.
Not Ichigo trying to take on number 5 in the first place...
Anyway I hope to see Vaizards in action soon, and maybe Vast Lords...

Ara, well i definitely meant what i typed but i touch on some new stuff too. When talking about ichigo vs byakuya's jutsu, it was just a matter of resolve and reiatsu. Its not as if byakuya was untouched, ichigo was on par with him most of the fight, and then his hollow beat the expletive out of him. So they were definitely on an equal footing when finishing move time came. As far as Kenpachi goes, as soon as he got serious he almost killed ichigo, and there were really only two or three blows exchanged while he was as such so in that instance it was really like ichigo giving one hundred percent and kenpachi giving fifty most of the fight. And kenpachi was kicking his arse. With respects to the captains im not about to just give up on em without a chance. I personally think Soi Fon has a bankai simply because of the fact that she's the head of two divisions. And while i will admit that forty percent of the people out there arent up to par i still think theyll give them a go. And once again THE VAIZARDS ARE COMING! And there going to beat the shit out of aizen before they do anything else.
