Thread: Yammy Espada 0

Does anyone else feel this is a bit of a copout?
Are we really supposed to buy that Yami is the weakest espada when not released and the absolute strongest espada when released. Give me a break. I think something is up though he can't be the strongest.

In case you didn't notice, there's a "Whine About Bleach Thread" for just this subject matter. You know, the stickied one at the top.

Oh, and yes - huge cop-out.

No this isn't really whining more like discussion about how this will play out. Whining is like "Bleach sucks the power levels don't make sense QQ"

It does feel like you're complaining though. I don't see anything wrong with Yammy being the strongest, since he does have the spirit absorption technique.

Well Espada rank is based on attack power (forget which issue it's mentioned), so his strength, e.g, punching power is the highest but that doesn't necessarily mean in a one on one fight he can best Espada 1-3, based on that I'm ok with his rank being 0.

Plus most people assumed Stark was the strongest because he was so laid back and they were all was completely wrong, this is a good thing imo.

But they were right, until now no one thought there would be an Espada 0. Meh. I guess the part the strikes me weirdest if Aizen takes he three strongest Espada but leaves Yammy. And leaves control of Los Noches to Ulq. Who until 3 seconds before that point was locked away in Limbo, and he thought that was a better choice than Yammy.

On a semi related note. I wonder who's going to get punched out first.

If Yammy's spirit absorption is anything like Ishida's angel form, can you imagine if Yammy tried to absorb every soul in Kankura? Not only would that ruin Aizen's plans, but may also start a revolt. Yammy doesn't seem like the type of person to take orders from a weaker being.

Espadas are ranked on destructive power and in that form Yami is the most dangerous to people and the environment around him, but in actual strength and skill to the other espada he's probably the weakest.

I thought that Yammy being the 0 espada was a nice twist, but clearly there has to be some hook to that. He probably does attain the strongest attack power with his release, but there will be something else that will allow Renji, Rukia, Chad and whoever else is down there to beat him.
