Maybe im off, but isnt hitsugaya a pussy most of the time because he has a limitter on? Like Ken. Maybe I got it wrong, but that thing hide 80% of his power or something. I dont like that he is ice elemental, but imagine the top captain is fire, and Hitsu is the strongest with ice, they could be equal if it isnt that he is so young and couldnt control that power yet. The dude is a monster, i just rewatch the fight he had with 11 arancar Shawlong, because someone mentioned Hitsu sucked in that fight. But only to realize when he released the limitter, Shawlong ran as he crapped his pants.

They all had a limit it's not just Hitsugaya, it had something to do with there reiatsu being to much for the people around them or something like that so they lifted the limit.

^all vice-captains and captains have the limiter, so ikkaku and ichigo were full power all the way, back then...

but by now, im sure they'd have lifted the limits long ago, considering they're preparing to fight espada. it'd just get in the way.

But it's just me or Yammy in his released form vaguely resembles to Duph of Claymore manga. Those things sticking out of his elbow, and his jaw... boh?

Anyway, I doubt that Yammy's number represent his overall strength, I think it's more a special number like the ex-espada. Something this big can't possibly use sonido.

Did Hitsugaya have limiter on his fight with luppi?

^no, by that time im sure they had already released the limiter. im sure that they realized that given how strong their enemies are, they'd just not bother with the limiter in those cases, to avoid their shinigami getting beaten up.

Kubo has set it up so he doesn't need an excuse to do well. In all likelyhood if i'm right, then some other power or other will kick in, if hitsugaya is to lose.

Seriously though, when he can make an ice prison from the moisture in the air, something special should happen with a Tidal Wave. I'm repeasting myself, but it's easy to see. I'd praise kubo for trying to balance out the misconception that hitsugaya is a piss poor captain, but it's such an easy scenario to write that I just can't. >_>

Hmm, no limitter and Hitsugaya hardly beat Luppi, it's not making sense for him to go against #3. I hope he not doing the "resolve" BS like Ichigo. But by any miracle, I want to see him stronger than he currently is.
