Ulquiorra's name origin revealed.
I realized a few weeks ago that Ulquiorra Cifer was probably inspired by the devil when I noticed that the phrase "The Antagonizer" is another way of saying Satan, and then that "Cifer" is the latter two thirds of the word "Lucifer", so I had a pretty good idea where his release and theme were going. The 345 spoilers that have been out today confirmed my guess, so I decided to do a bit more sleuthing.
Now, guess what I found out: The original Latin phrase from which the name Lucifer comes is "lucifer qui mane oriebaris" ("the star that rose in the morning").
lucifer qui mane oriebaris
LuCifer Qui (mane) Orie(baris)
uLQuiOrie Cifer
Ulquiorra Cifer
Anyway, that's all I had to say. That and that I'm amazed I haven't heard of anyone else noticing this before, because it's been right under our noses the whole fricking time.

Uryuu freaky, pale and geeky,
how do your powers grow?

and swords that I shoot from a bow,
yes, swords that I shoot from a bow."
