Thread: Orihime Theory

I know this was discussed before, that Orihime is a descendant of the Royal Family, but what if the King's Seal was inside of her and Ichigo's constantly leaking spiritual pressure was enough to release it? Since Orihime doesn't have as much Reiatsu as most of the other characters, she would probably need more in order to release that power, perhaps gathering the spiritual power of 10,000 souls, to open the seal completely.
Her hairpins could just be a focus for that power like the Quincy and their bows. It would go with TK's rehashing of story plots with Aizen taking the Hogyoku from Rukia's soul/Aizen taking the King's Seal from Orihime's soul.

...this theory is annoying because it's plausible.....though, going off topic, if Ichigo's been leaking off all of this reiatsu, why hasn't Tatsuki been granted any special powers???(not that it matters now...)

Wow....that´s not half bad considering the old Aizen you were hitting so hard last week.

Still, i find that unlikely, Aizen said that he wanted Orihime´s powers for the Hougyoku so he can perfect it, the king´s seal has nothing to do with her.

And since the hell when is Orihime is a descendant of the Royal Family?

Actually, prior to Ichigo leaving for Hueco Mundo, Tatsuki has become able to see him in his Shinigami form. Then there's that annoying friend of Ichigo's that's been able to see them aswell. Just because their powers aren't developing as quickly as Orihime's and Chad's doesn't mean that Tatsuki and those other two friends won't get some in the future.

But on-topic: I doubt that Orihime is a descendant of the Royal Family. We just don't know anything about them, so it's really hard to come up with any plausible theory. In my opinion, Aizen didn't need Orihime for ANYTHING. The only thing he wanted was to divide the forces of Soul Society, so as to make the creation of the King's Key go smoother. Aizen wanted Ulquiorra to kidnap one of Ichigo's friends because he saw what had happened in Soul Society and wanted the situation to repeat itself, as indeed occurred: Ichigo, Ishida and Chad all went, Renji and Rukia followed and now Soul Society sent 4 captains and their subordinates to help, leaving the defense of Karakura Town weaker, not to mention the defense of Soul Society itself.

While Orihime's powers are interesting and could be developed further in the plot, I think that Aizen didn't need her for anything but bait.

I've realized in terms of "theories" and shounen Bleach has the most, followed by naruto and then OP. Its most likely because Bleach is soo open ended.

The whole "spiritual release" shit i could care less. Thats so ambiguous. And about the whole "member of the royal family" thing meh.

To find out more answers on Orihime's abilities we should look to Hachi (the FAT vizard). He did say that Orihime's abilities are similar to his own.

I very much doubt that. I do think that he used her for bait for both Soul society and Ichigo and his crew but all that talk about the Hougyoku still stands, especially since Aizen took the trouble of taking her back from Ichigo and telling Orihime to "wait for him". Plus all that talk of Grimmjaw and Ulqiorra saying that´s she´s "changing inside".

The "i don´t need her" thing that he let on is bullshit in my opinion.

About the rest of Ichigo´s school group, it´s implied that Urahara will train them or something.
