I think its´pretty clear that Ichigo will get help in this fight to beat Ulquiorra, even if he´s now much more focused now and still haven´t resorted to use his Vaizard mask.
If Orihime plays a singificant part in Ulquiorra´s defeat, that remains to be seen, iwould cerainly like that.
There´s always Ishida, who´s the only one missing from the original rescue team and of course Shirosaki, who´s just begging to take over Ichigo again.
I just don't think he's ever trained to attack at any great speed though. I dunno, it just seems like something he wouldn't bother to learn :P

^that would imply he's a vasto lorde, but it certainly doesn't mean for sure he is. of course, im pretty sure he's a vasto lorde, too...but you can't simply say that he is one until kishi makes it clear.
and i don't think its relevant. whether or not he turns out to be one, it won't change the circumstances of the battle. the only way it would become significant is if all the espadas weren't vasto lords, because it would mean there are stronger potential arrancars out there waiting. so in the current battle, its irrelevant.
as for ichigo losing...i really would like to see that. i was annoyed enough when he managed to beat grimmjaw, and it wasn't nearly as epic as when he first beat renji, say, or kenpachi. those battles meant something, but ichigo beating grimmjaw...was like just any other battle to me. so im hoping he loses one for once. let someone save him this time.
Vasto lord business is shady, there is no concrete proof that any espada is a vasto lord, at all!
The sillouete is inconclusive at best

*sigh* Ichigo's Hollow isn't a Vasto Lorde. Vasto Lordes are the top-level of a Menos Grande. Menos Grandes are many Hollows that have formed together. So while Ichigo's Hollow might turn out to be insanely powerful, it is still, simply, a single Hollow.
However, I do believe that Ulquiorra and the 3 other top Espada are Vasto Lordes. Aside of the silhouette-thing, there just seems to be a big power-gap between Ulquiorra and the lower Espada. If Ulquiorra was a Vasto Lorde, it would also explain part of Grimmjow's animosity towards him; Grimmjow undoubtedly wanted to become a Vasto Lorde, but given that his Resurrecion is very animal-like (similar to his Adjuchas-form) and the Vasto Lordes are already in a humanish-form prior to turning into an Arrancar (as explained by Kubo through Hitsugaya), Grimmjow was certainly only an Adjuchas when he became an Arrancar. Judging by the insect-like form, Nnoitra was most likely an Adjuchas aswell, but he didn't seem to give a shit what he was and always believed himself to be superior to everyone else. Grimmjow would hate Ulquiorra more than any other Espada, when such an emotionless servant of Aizen succeeded where he failed.
But I guess it will become clear what Ulquiorra is (or was) once he releases his zanpakutou.
Btw.. Where is those Vizards anyway?? I haven't seen them in the "sealed" karakura town??
And about the power of Orihime, I remember that one of the Vizards (that fat one) ever mention about something..
