It was a big flare coming in the scene so it might be Hinamori

Well, there are plenty of shinigami missing from the battle besides Hinamori. Where's Genryuusai's lieutenant, Chojiro Sakabane, I think his name is. Anyways, I was hoping they would start killing some of the shinigami. Besides Toshiro and Rangiku, the rest of them there I could see dying.

bleach fight scenes rarely have any substance. its the only manga i read where the fight scenes make me go "hmmm bleh". so insipid.

^yes, bleach fight scenes kinda remind me of dragonball. jeez, all they do is clash, unclash, and blast something.

and i would prefer matsumoto saving hinamori, not the other way around. imagine being saved by the whiny obsessive stalker-ish one.

I meant not even fighting happens. Soi Fon starts to counter and BAM change of scene and it's Matsumoto and then BAM saved. End of chapter.
