Therefore, she has bankai.

Or are you going to tell me that every Captain haven´t showed their bankai don´t have one?

If you can remember, the soul slayer can be any shape and any form in release state. That mean Yoruichi may be wield her soul slayer all the time, her soul slayer can be even her shoes.

What you're saying is already given... but the fact that she hasn't shown it remains... therefore it's only assumed that she has one because she's a captain while there's still no living proof.

I think it isn't Nanao because her captain didn't bring her to the battle field in the first place. And fire ball is Hinamori soul slayer ability.

Maybe you´re talking about the physical manifestation of a Death God´s soul?

They can range from freaky looking monkeys (Renji), freaky looking manta rays (Unohana) and weird looking humans living in the matrix (Ichigo). But they can´t transform at will.

What he meant is that shikai's can take any form. If I remember correctly there is one Vaizards that his release turns into a dagger, Ichigo has a gigantic sword and Soi Fon has a poking device.

What i think he was trying to say is that the "sword" could be any form like you stated above, not that it can change shapes(although I'm sure there is a sword that could do that theoretically).

My guess would be that Yourichi's shikai is something like Gilgamesh from Devil May Cry 4, a pair of gauntlets and greaves with special abilities behind them.(Gilgamesh in DMC4 could charge and unleash lighting type attacks, with punch/kick combos)

I think the fact that we have yet to see her use the sword is because her fighting style leads to her not needing it for most opponents. She specializes in speed and hand to hand combat, so the use of her sword is not as necessary as it is for someone who specializes in swordsmanship.

I was trying to say that the shap and form of soul slayer can be anything such as a very long sword, flying blade, spear, axe, claw, ..... and even can be a bow or something that has a speacial ability in release stage.

I wasn't say about the soul form of soul slayer, not have a little related to it. I said about release stage that it isn't mean to the soul form of soul slayer. Because the soul form of soul slayer not has a release stage, it only has one form of its soul.

So in that statement , (former) captains like Yamamoto, Gin, Aizen, Shunsui and Ukitake , as well as Urahara, Shinji, Love, Rose, Kensei , and Isshin doesn't have a bankai just because they haven't been shown with their bankai released yet?
