Thread: Isshin Kurosaki history maybe

Okay i was rewatching bleach and got to Kaien Shiba part. Maybe I'm the first but what if Isshin Kurosaki name is really Isshin Shiba. Remember how Kukaku Shiba treats her brother Ganju and then look at how Isshin treats Ichigo. Maybe the Shiba clan beat up the men to make them stronger. Then look at Kaien Shiba and Ichigo and that they are drawn the same way. Remember that the author had Shinhi Hirako on the cover of Vol.1. Kaien and Ichigo are so much alike the they could be part of the same clan. And the last reason a think is that if Isshin was a captain than Byakuya Kuchiki would of heard of the kurosaki name. I think that it was Isshin that took his wife's name and that was the reason that Byakuya didn't know the Kurosaki name. By the way during the manga and anime well are informed the the shiba clan fell from power or something along those line. Maybe that had something to do with Isshin and the reason way he went to the living world or the fact that he married Misaki caused the problem.

as for your theory...i would say it's unlikely. him not having kurosaki as his original surname may be true, but...i don't know the circumstances well enough to think this is possible.

but i dont think isshin was a captain in the gotei 13 at the time of his exile.maybe that division 0 thing.............

Maybe but there is still a chance. since in the flash back we saw all but 2 captains, the 10 squad and the 11 squad. they saw that the 11 squad captain beat the 10 squad captain for the the name Kenpachi and that the 10 squad captain was soaking because he lost. The 11 squad captain could be Zaraki but their is no way the the 10 squad captain was Hitsugaya doesn't seem like him, plus the fact that Momo wasn't even in the Shinigami Academy. So that would leave a unknown captain in the 10 squad. Remember the Momo was in the Academy when Gin was the Lt. of the 5 squad, and Gin was older then he was in the flash back. Plus could you see Isshin's face when he finds out that Ichigo beat Zaraki. Pissed off Dad and then he attacks Ichigo when ever he lets his guard down. Isshin seem like a proud man and has be turn Ichigo into a person that doesn't let his friend down. Isshin is still beating him self up over Misaki's deaf. and not the same thing but Isshin is still soaking over Misaki maybe he would do the same about losing the name Kenpachi if he put everything into getting and keeping the name. It's about the same thing as losing a big game.

I was reading the Pendulum chapters and I've come with 2 theories about Isshin:

1, He was from the Kiba clan and was already married to Masaki. The latter was already pregnant with Ichigo and Soul Society viewed the unborn Ichigo as a danger due to his huge reiatsu. This would explain why Isshin and his family escaped to the human world with a new name to protect them and also why he used the undetectable gigai at the cost of his own powers and why he has put a seal on Ichigo's rieatsu(powers) before the beginning of the history. When Uraha was talking to Hiyori in the pendulum arc, he told her that no one was allowed to resign from the seireitei or they would be sent to the maggot's nest, but he said they were allowed to take a leave for personal reasons and if they take longer than neccessary their name would be erased from the seireitei. That would explain why the younger shinigamis such as renji and rukai have never heard of Isshin as captain and it would also suggest that Isshin was the one responsible for the removal of the Kiba clan from the noble families.

2, While in the human Isshin Kiba world he fell in love with Masaki Kurosaki and decided to stay with her using a gigai from Urahara and also using his wife's name. Which would result in the same consequences as above. But can a shinigami who is soul have children with a human?

It's implied somewhere or other that isshin has lost his soul reaper powers over 20 years ago - the ichigo theory doesn't wash. And even if it DID, then soul society probably would have killed him when they realised he was around.

As for the TC.... ichigo bears a close resemblance to kaein, that's it. For a nephew to that closely resemble his uncle would require some inbreeding, or something. But ichigo isn't THAT close to kaein in looks anyway. The vast majority of the basis for comparison comes from their shared attitude.

No...

In the flashback it says the 11th Division Captain is always the chosen Kenpachi and that the current Kenpachi is the 10th one after beating the previous one.
