its...a bit of a let down.

took them a whole chapter to draw their swords and clash.

might get a bit chaotic trying to keep up with all the fights. i do hope kubo will be creative and mix it up a bit (i.e. use what's happening in one battle to affect another), though i doubt that. if history's any prediction, it'll be pretty straight-forward fights.

still though, it'll be interesting to see how the fights progress.

might go back to Ichigo next week so they can join the fight in the real world? But then again the Vizards will be there soon :P

It´s inevitable that the story will shift to Ichigo and Ulquiorra. =/

Still, shit is going down, it sucks that Kubo is taking so long to confirm if the top 4 Espada are Vasto lordes or not.

actually, i kinda forgot about ichigo. and i'd bet they're vasto lordes.

and i was wondering:
why's soifon stuck with a lowly fraccion,
why hitsugaya's fighting one of the top 3,
and why two captains are ganging up on an espada and a weak fraccion.

given, stark's strong, but from the gotei's point of view, wouldn't it be better to give hitsu some help? its basically 2 vs 4 there.

So Baraggan's # 1? He's still sitting in the throne while Stark already drew his sword.

But then again, Stark's lazy to fight.

Did anyone else think that the quality was pretty terrible?

Its still up for grabs. Stark had to draw his sword by default. He doesn't want his fraccion to fight and theres 2 captains in front of him. Whereas barragan looks like he prefers giving his subordinates orders. So naturally he's going to just sit on his throne and chill.

I want soifon's VC to die. I never liked his fat ass anyways. Anytime he talks he annoys the baby jesus outta me. And all he does is just stuff his face. If he does win he better prove himself hardcore cause not even soifon herself has any faith in him.

"When this is over we should give him a shoulder rub." Wow... Juushiro is definitely... something.

The battle of the two lazies, we all saw this coming.

Soi Fong doesn't believe in Omaeda, big surprised. I hope he dies, or at least gets taken out. He hasn't been shown to do anything and probably got his rank from his money/finances.

Matsumoto vs 3 fraccions? Wow, she must be very confident or foolish. It took the rest of the VCs to do a 1v1 and barely got away from it. She's bound to get some help. Halibel's sword looks awesome.

Barragan is the first to have his full name called, I wonder if this is signifcant.

Though this chapter was meant to show both sides getting riled up and doing battle, I really thought this was more of a filler chapter than anything. I wonder if KT has even thought of the final endings to these fights.
