Thread: Bleach: Chapter 320

I must be the only one more interested in the current fights over the pillars than Ichigo's upcoming fight with Ulquiora. As a main character in a shonen manga it's dictated that he win so there's no suspense.

On the other hand with secondary characters who aren't that necessary anything could happen to them. I just wish Yumichka hadn't gotten paired with the lame one.

We haven't even gotten to Ikkaku's and the 4 guardian's (forgot who it was already) fights yet btw, so we have another chapter or 2 to waste on them.

I'd say that I'm more intrested in these fights, or well. This battle, than in Ichigo's one on one with Ulquira. But, I still don't want the fights to be even two chapters each. One can make extreamly delicious fights in manga with only one, too one and a half chapter to do it.

Or well, if you don't have to draw five pages of nothing happening, atleast, each chapter one can.

I find 95% of the fights in this manga to be disgustingly long, mostly because you never really see anything really new.

Well, both Abirama and Coolhorn have already released so i don´t see why people are already bitching that these fights will be unbearably long.

I mean, Kira and Abirama didn´t even start and he already released.

^Because there's somewhere near 30 shinigami and their respective hollow counterparts in the same vicinity and having to watch 2 of the 4 vice-captain (or lower ranked peons) waste time fighting battles that have essentially fixed results prelude the more interesting end of the battles is boring. Not to mention, the rate of fighting seems at best about 2 chapters per 2 fights, so we're looking at a minimum of 30 chapters of wasted time going at this rate (though Tite will more likely get bored by his own pace and finish everyone's fight in one chapter during the middle of that boring streak), unless we get our friendly vaizards or Aizen's mini-cohort to return within that time.

My point still stands, even if the battleground is overpopulated with characters (Which is to be expected since this is a war), it looks like the pillar fights won´t last long compared to, oh the Hueco Mundo fights that went on and on and on.....

And i don´t agree with both your comments on the fixed results or how these fights are uninteresting compared to the upcoming fights with the Espada.

That´s really not a valid argument since in the end you have Death Gods and Arrancar fighting, i thought that the Doordoni x Ichigo fight was probably the best out of all the fights in Hueco Mundo (Only being topped by the Nel x Nnoitra confrontation). It all depend on the characters really and how they fight and personally, Yumichika is one of my favorite characters and i enjoy seeing him getting more panel time, especially if he´s forced to use Bankai if he already achieved it, which i believe he did.

And since these are all secondary characters here, there´s nothing that ensure us that all of them will beat Barragan´s fraccion, they don´t have plot shield helping like Ichigo who´s about to win against Ulquiorra.

I´d rather watch these fights than Ichigo´s.

^you sure have a point but I think most of the people want to already watch the "big fight" which everybody has waited for.I for one agree with you,the fights of Yumichika and the others can be cool,but that only if Kubo doesn´t screw it and it doesn´t take too long.

Quite frankly, I too am more interested in these fights the the main bouts. After all, who wins these (which is most likely to be SS, but no garentees) decides who will have the perfered battle feild. That can change how everything works, and in the end even affect the fight in HM (even if the out come is the same). I would like to see one of the 4 VC fail, and then Ichigo's dad or someone step in to help out. Anyways, these should be quick fights (so far we only have seen two start and they are already almost halfway done... if I remember the abilities correctly) so I don't think it will be that bad.

I'm only mildly interested in 69s release. Other than that, more gin, less fruitcakes. I'm not sure how Ichigo is supposed to last with Ulq, he got absolutely beasted last time they met up.

He'll last against Ulq by either plot device or plot hole, with Tite I'm sure he'll go with the second.

As for what fights intrest me more, it's the not Ichigo fights. But I still don't want them to take say more than a chapter or so each. As short fights can be damn much better than using 5 squares to show every damn little move.
