Yea so the old espada Barragan looks exactly like the guy in the Central 46 room from chapter -98/316.

If you're infering they are the same person, no. Aizen killed all of central 46.

I would rather say Barragan looked more like Chad's abuelo, except more buff, but even that is highly unlikely.

They look the same. Barragan is just more arrancarized. I'm thinking when Aizen killed Central 46 that this guy turned into a hollow and Aizen eventually used the hougyouku in. The resemblance is far too similar for them not be related.

im new here but i think Aizen didn't get the hougyouku untill after he killed central 46... but im probably mistaken.

Not to mention, as has already been shown in this flashback arc, if you turn a shinigami into a hollow and then back you get a vaizard, not an arrancarr.

maybe he didn't turn back to a shinigami and remained a hollow...
