Thread: Winter War strategy: Has Aizen lost it?

Following the revelation that the last year of the manga was all a part of Aizen's plan to sacrifice all the weak members of his army in order to trap people in Heuco Mundo, Aizen and Yama's forces are finally entering the real battle. With his 3 captains and 3 espada vs. 6 captains, it looks like a pretty even matchup.

Except it's not, because Urahara and the vizard are there. Which means it's actually 6 on 16 and Aizen's walking into a massacre.

So has Aizen got completely insane, or is Urahara somehow being kept out of the battle, or what?

Aizen, Tousen, and Gin wont be joining the top 3 espadas. It will be the 3 espadas, their Fracion, and Luppi from what we've been shown. Aizen intends to travel to soul society and create the King's Key there.

It's actualy 7 on 10. and also 3 espadas against 6 captains. In soul society, the 3 former captains would be fighting against 4, possibly 8 strong opponents. and thats Urahara, Yourioichi, and the fathers. 6 if you include ikaku, yumichika, Kira, and Hisagi.

notice the vice captains that were left in soul society? they're all the ones who served under the traitors. Kira, Hisagi, and Hinamori. Wouldnt be the least bit surprised if they're the first to confront them and loose instantly. then it'll probably go down as Tousen vs Yorouichi first, Urahara taking on Gin, then Aizen fighting Ishin afterwards. Ryuken will likely sit it out first saying that quincies don't fight beside with soul society, but will likely intervene in the Aizen fight once Ishin is backed into a corner.

i'm sure aizen still has tricks up his sleeve. he's not aizen for nothing. it'll be fun to speculate what's going to happen while we go through 105 more chapters of flashback (last week was chapter -106)

Actually, here's an interesting point: Aizen has previously defeated 2 of the captains on the SS side that he's currently fighting in one move each. What if, rather than the normal split up one-on-one thing, Aizen sics everyone else on the 3 strongest captains while he takes out all the weaker captains and lieutenants (this would take about 5 seconds total, and he could even illusion himself invisible while he did it), and then his side can double up (actually more like 4 on 1 counting fraccion) on the stronger captains?

if i were aizen, that's what I'd do, hitsu soifon and koma shouldn't take more than a few secs, all the vcs would faint if aizen just showed a little bit of power, but that's probably not what's gonna happen, since this is shonen
