I wouldn't rank Ichigo's power on how well he fights after a fight. Be like Mike Tyson going the full 12 rounds then having to take on some fresh street thug, no matter how good you are when your fucked your fucked. Besides Ichigo not only took unnecessary damage while protecting Orhime against Grimmjow but he also took a beating from Nnoitora before Telsa stepped in.

Fair enough Ichigo lost the first time by underestimating his opponent (so it seemed) but we have seen him improve greatly since then and he's bound to do some more. Hell he got K.O by Byakuya in 2 hits then went on to beat him. To say his still no match for Ulquiora i think is too harsh. How Ichigo would win i'm not sure, but he could surely put up a fight.

how the hell ichigo beat byakuya?? coz Tite or kubo wrote it so. and he wrote it like this -> byakuya with broken bankai but still standing then left, leaving ichigo laying on the ground motionless. and how the hell he'll beat Ulquiora when he needed a mask to beat grimmjaw while kenpachi just used two hands to beat Noiroitra. kenpachi should be a better candidate to beat Ulala but guess thats not how things roll in bleach-verse. the way i see it is ichigo aint gonna be alone to face Ulala. even if the captains wont go, strawberry still got ishida and co.

Note how I used the word "Survive?" He couldn't even keep himself from having his bones broken like a wooden doll.

He went all out, gave everything he had, then took one good hit by protecting Nell. Soon after he had a whole in his chest from Ulquiorra's bare hand pushing into his flesh like a hot railroad spike into a styrofoam mannequin. There was little to no underestimating done after he saw Ulquiorra's number.

Byakuya kicked his ass when he barely had a handle on what his powers were and how to even use them. He had to be trained, reborn, trained some more, fight with several strong opponents, get trained some more, and then achieve the greatest thing a Shinigami can strive for, then fight him. AND THEN, during the fight, he lost. His hollow side had to come out and fight for him until Byakuya was bleeding to death. Then, after overcoming his hollow's control, he literally fought to a stand still and Byakuya gave up on his own volition.

Yes, he can fight with Ulquiorra, but if he gives him any trouble to the extend of him having to release in order to survive...it's gone even beyond the Kenpachi loss of days past.
