Thread: Soul Society Death?

Has anyone from soul society died yet? Where do you go after you die if you're already dead?

I think I remember that when you die you are reincarnated as a human, losing all your memories from when you were a shinigami.

You have to keep in mind, they aren't exactly dead. They breathe, drink, eat, reproduce, and bleed. There is always another level of "dead."

And like the above poster said, they probably just reincarnate.

Then you apparently haven't read the manga. The story of the Quincies mentioned how there were a certain number of souls that existed on either side of SS and the physical plane. And that Quincies were hunted down because they were actually destroying souls, thus, were reducing the number of souls on their side of the universe.

In essence, they said that souls reincarnate probably more than four separate times in the manga. That's why people live in the outer rim of Soul Society - they're waiting on their turn to be reborn.

Are you reading the same thing I am? Yes, reincarnation and all that jazz exists, I'm not denying you that. But you reincarnate after you die again? Why are people waiting then? Just kill yourself so you can be reborn, right? I didn't think so.

You realize the whole "be reborn thing" would result in a new body, and a freshly wiped soul. It's the same as being a whole new person; hence it's like dieing again, and people don't tend be able to kill themselves on a whim like that. There's no good reason why you wouldn't reincarnate if you died there.

We still haven't been informed of how the process even happens. It's never been shown or explained in any detail.

But that's exactly what you're telling me. Shinigami's die and are reincarnated.

For all you know, nothing happens when a soul in soul society dies. If it hasn't been explained in detail, then fine. But please don't misinform me, spewing made up information from your anal shaped oval of a mouth. Thank you.

Yes, but I can back up my claim with related evidence. That's why the whole deal with the Quincy came up. The whole deal with the SS residents came up. One can assume that if dieing in Soul Society resulted in a destroyed soul, then people like Kenpachi wouldn't have been allowed to live the way he did. Or else the soul destruction ratio would have been much higher than what the Quincy were doing on Earth.

Hell, we've even been informed that Shinigami have souls within them.

You bring up a good point. But what kind of life style does Kenpachi supposedly live? I'm not sure what you're saying makes sense. He kills people and thus causes them to reincarnate? He kills more people than the entire Quincy populous?

Nobody doubted they had a soul. Kinda stupid to assume they didn't.
