I believe Terasiel is looking for a definite proof answer and not a "Most likely" answer.

Too bad since this is pretty much everything we have to speculate at the moment.

Well, not so much "definite proof" as acknowledgment that Gin being obedient and loyal makes little to no sense considering his personality. Still, the idea that he could be indebted to him is always a possibility.

Why do so many people thing Gin is not loyal to aizen. If anyone isn't loyal, it's Tousen. It would make more sense if he back stabbed aizen. He follows the path of justice, so he will get close to aizen so he can kill him in the name of justice. But i don't think either of them will defect.

I do however think Gin/Aizen/Tousen are vizard, and I have reasons to back it up to.

P.S. Gin is my all time favorite character in any manga/anime series ever. Just thought I'd throw that out there.

Well I am not trying to argue about thinking about mangas and stuff, or try to find logic. But from my point of view, a manga is much like a novel. If the novel doesn't make sense and bounces every ass idea now and then it makes it bad. Just because it is a fictional story or a manga doesn't mean I'm gonna accept any ass ideas popping out. (I mean this with every kind of story not only Bleach).

And about Gin, well...I mean...his eyes being "shut" is an important asset to the story somehow?...You could...No.

Personally, i don´t see the problem here, Gin serving directly under Aizen was part of the mind fuck plot twist. And it worked.

All the old people in Ranma 1/2 had squinty eyes, except Happosai and Cologne

I recall even the panda, at times, had squinty eyes.

well, obviously, given what has happened so far, Gin has been shown to be loyal and dedicated to Aizen. There is no doubt about that.

whether or not he will TURN on Aizen is a completely different story. We do not have enough information whatsoever to either support or tear down that theory. As it stands, I think it's more likely that he is loyal, because we've seen many indications of that, but never any indications of him having any ulterior motives.

and about the squinting thing...*sarcasm* I thought it was a sharingan, until he opened his eyes in the story */sarcasm*

The reason why there's so many people hoping that Gin will turn on Aizen, is that of all the captains - Gin - probably has the biggest chance of taking Aizen down. As mentioned before, Gin was Aizens VC (should therefore know of his weaknesses and plan) and is a foxy sneaky bastard.

The problem is that Aizen is probably an even meaner sneakier bastard than Gin...

Back to the post: No I don't think Gin is under the Total Hypnosis. Aizen would want Gin to work in total control for his plans. Gin is smart enough to see that he'll be destroyed if he ever tries to turn on Aizen (by himself - dun dun dun!).

The more relevant question is, does Matsumoto have enough cleavage to persuade Gin in fighting Aizen?
