Great chapter. But doesn't the whole 100 years thing become less effective on somebody with a total lifespan of 100 years several times over? Ie wouldn't this be more effective on a human with a shorter life than a arrancar with a longer life?

I enjoyed this fight conclusion as well. After the boredom of the Byakuya/Octopus (don't remember his name anymore) fight, I was glad to see this fight where the outcome wasn't preset.

@mystic_guard_sinoel: Dude.. no matter what, it's still gonna FEEL like 100 years of pain.
Mayuri said that his poison gave the victim "superhuman" perception - but very much unlike our perception of "superhuman" -which in this case means that Saepollo or whatever his name is, 's perception of time is altered. 1 second felt like 100 years or something. basically, for saepollo, it took mayuri about 200 years to go up to him, and then he had a dagger sliding through his hand for about 175 years. imagine that my friend... FUCKED up shit..

Maybe KT realized how many people think Mayuri sucks and sought to give him a crazy fight to change opinions. My opinion of him definitely went up (skills I mean, I still hate how he treats Nemu).

I'd like to die with the songs I love stuck in my head. I hope to make the most of these hollow bones we become.

He will probably fix her up.. also improving how people see him threat her.

The drug also should be beneficial for them, like he said you could dilute it so you can sharpen your senses to max.

The chapter ending gave me a cold chill down my back, Mayuri kick so mych ass. He totally got the drop on him! But I doubt that he will let Nemu "die" even though he tread her like nothing.

Did anyone else love/hate Mayuri's reaction to Nemu's "death" (i put the quotes up because i don't think she's gone forever, but will be rebuilt/saved). At first, I thought that he was actually going to show a shred of humanity, but then he completely reversed what I thought and I hated him for a second. Then I completely loved him again because that lack of humanity is why Mayuri is awesome. Apollo was just a cheap imitation next to the master of creep.

As a side note, does anyone else think that Mayuri treats Nemu more like his prized science fair experiment than his daughter. A part of me wishes that he loved her like she loves him, but I can see where he's coming from. She's basically a cuter, smarter version of Frankenstein's monster.

Your right. Mayuri could dilute the super-man potion and use it to sharpen his senses to the max. With that, Mayuri can make himself extremely perceptive to his environment, and increase his reaction time to the limit.

If you add that to his ability to remove his vital points, to his ability to incapacitate the opponent with his Shikai, and his ability to limit his opponent to very simple movements (via the super-man potion), Mayuri could defeat an huge amount of people.

Actually Mayuri should be able to beat someone by just stabbing someone and using the super-man potion. Since every second feels like 100 years, Mayuri could defeat someone with just the pain and the psychological damage. This would be like Itachi's Tsukyomi, but a lot more powerful.

Here's a comparison between the Tsukyomi and the potions effect:

    Tsukyomi:

    -Lasts for 1 sec

-The time in the "Tsukyomi World" can last at least 72 hours

    Super-Man Potion:

    - Lasts for at least 10 secs (The effects of the drug began to take effect before Mayuri speaked and edged his sword into Syazel)

    - 1 sec experienced by someone under the influence of the super-man potion feels like 100 years.
