To someone mentionning electricity. They do have a sort of electricity in SS, just take a look at Mayuri's lab.
Yeah there are different districts in SS, and the last 2 are real poor. This is totally crazy, you die, but since you are a good soul a shinigami comes and says," don't worry, you'll be happy and at peace in SS". Then, bad luck, you end up in the poor districts, where there are thieves, murderers etc etc. Oh did i say thieves and murderers? yeah that's right, in SS, where 'good' souls are, some of these 'good' souls steal or/and kill. (murderers refer to the guys trying to kill Zaraki in the short flashback of the time he met Yachiru. I'm assuming that it wasn't Zaraki who picked up a fight, at the VERY beginning).
Just how long can one live in SS?
Rukia's and Renji's friends all died when they were young, though we never did know how. Couldn't be of hunger, since they didn't possess sipiritual powers so they didn't have to eat.
When shinigami dies i think he reincarnates back on earth, making an equilibrium.
That Mayuri part is quite disturbing. i mean, soul society is supposed to be a place where good souls go to, like heaven. then, if you are strong, you get to become a shinigami. Mayuri became a shinigami, but he's a total psycho! Don't anyone from the division complain? Oh and i do remember he captured quincys and didn't all kind of horrible experiments on them. Sure, they were at war with shinigamis, but still, Mayuri doing these experiments are just like WW2 where they did experiments on the prisoners for the good of the superior race.
Speaking of quincys. Sure hollows attack souls. But hollows were all once human souls, some innocent. Now in the manga they say quincys annihilate the hollows completely... no soul burial, nothing. the original soul just disappears. WTF? Just imagine a hollow appear in front of Ishida. Naturally, Ishida takes out his bow and shoot. Hollow dies, but oh crap, it just happen that the hollow was originally his grandfather, and he just destroyed his soul completely.
Also, I don't understand about the god stuff. What's above soul society that aizen so much want to go to.
why does everyone think that absolutely no souls have the need to eat? Renji had that whole flashback thing after his fight with Ichigo and remembered how Rukia fainted from not having eaten. All souls have to drink water too, which is why they stole the water from that vendor. The only souls that have to eat are the ones that can use spiritual energy (i.e. Shinigami).
Anyway, the only person we see go to hell is that one Hollow that used to be a mass murderer (remember, during that whole parakeet incident?). So perhaps people go to SS when they've lived a good life (*emphasis*), but what happens when they reach SS doesn't matter, so they could become mass murderers there.
where did i say no souls have to eat? all those that can use spiritual energy have to, i know that. in my previous post i only mentioned the improbability that the friends of Rukia and Renji couldn't die of hunger since they were normal souls.
As for the water, are you sure? Hmm i'll have to check that.
The SS is pretty twisted imo... just like our world->dangerous. There isn't so much of a progress from earth. There still are murderers etc.
If Hell ever opened its gates and let its occupants out, the shinigami would be seriously outnumbered. After all, there's nothing but hollows there. And they have a bad enough time with Hueco Mundo.
Though I doubt a hell arc would ever happen, since it defeats the purpose of hell being "eternal", and the storyline would suck because it wouldn't be done right.
I did say "this is assuming this law was in place before Aizen killed the higher-ups". I figure it had to be around for centuries for most Soul Reapers to adhere to it so vehemently, so the only orders Aizen needed to fabricate where to bump up the execution schedule so he could to nab the Orb of Distortion from Rukia's body all the quicker.
Well, Squad 11 probably isn't the most picky when it comes to recruiting: if you can stab hard enough, you're in.

All of those counterarguments sucked ass(except maby the first). Just accept that some things weren't that well thought through and it's fun to point them out. There are holes in every story and if a story creates a whole different world, laws and levels of existancy then there are bound to be some errors. It's human nature.
-Whale....Lion...? ....no..hmmm...elephant?......fish? ....Mom what do I have again?
-Cancer Honey.
It's called suspension of disbelief you fags. If you get annoyed by an exceptionally poorly thought-out fighting manga like bleach then how about moving on to better things already.
So? You do realize that Quincys hate hollows with a burning passion, and that the Quincys were formed out of the sake of pure revenge? They don't care about whoever the hollow used to be, only what it currently is at this moment, a slavering hungry monster that kills fellow humans, and that's enough reason for the Quincy to put an arrow through the hollow's head. Besides, it's not as if the Quincy can tell whoever's behind that mask. Come to think of it, they never really did give a damn about the afterlife, which led them to continue destroying souls causing the imbalance (souls that die on SS are supposed to be reincarnated back on Earth, Rukia said in her explanation of Quincys to Ichigo) and leaving SS no choice but to eradicate the Quincy.
Regarding all the minor problems in hypocrisy society, I do find them perplexing. I choose not to give a shit about them though. (Old fart Yama-jii's probably simply choosing not to update the SS infrastructure, keeping things like how it used to be 3 centuries ago when he was young. This calls for a new leader!)
