Seriously, I agree with you on this one entirely. His release had better not simply be speed and clones. The redundancy would repeatedly destroy my brain with it's demoralizing tautology.

I believe the proper English term is afterimage (lol even Mozilla recognizes that as a word). I love how all these espada think they have new techniques when all they are are weaker rehashes of old Soul Society techniques.

@SD, I'm assuming that cicada are rare around NYC?
I don't find the shells to be creepy at all, though cicada can be pretty disgusting when they die, gray and green mold start to grow over them when they get get that old, and apparently they're almost almost completely hollow after they molt, no entrails at all.
They do taste pretty good if you cook them before they molt though.
@faramir90, She's a captain, strong enough and smart that Aizen went to some lengths to deceive her, how are some generic no name arrancar going to survive fighting her?
