Thread: Why did Isshin leave soul society

My thoughts on Ichigo's Dad (Isshin) and why Urahara and Yoruichi left.

What I think and why.

I think that Isshin was either an accidental victim or choose to take the “special”
Gigai from Urahara. Urahara was kick out of the soul society for making a Gigai
(Artificial Body for Shinigamis) that when the Shinigami enter the Gigai
that person could not regain there spiritual powers. The Gigai was made out
of a substance that did not contain any spiritual matter thus creating a untraceable
Gigai which got him exiled.as explained by Aizen. When he is telling about his plan to obtain the Hougyoku.
I am guessing that Ichigo’s Dad Isshin was the first person to get one ofUrahara's “special” Gigai’s
Rukia being the second so he could hide the Hougyoku due to her circumstances and that she needed a Gigai.
One of the possible situation is that Urahara may the gigai special for Isshin because he want to leave because he felt in love with Masaki
and she was a human with high Reiatsu and she could see him or not. May be they just fell in love
and Isshin want to stay with her so Urahara made the “special” Gigai for Isshin thus getting Urahara exiled because the soul society found out.
Or Option two he was an unknowing test subject or willing one same ending soul society finds out Urahara gets exiled.
Because Urahara gets exiled Yoruichi leaves with Urahara because they are best friends Yoruichi decides to leave with Urahara .
Isshin says to Urahara after he kills Arrancar Grand Fisher after small conversation the only thing he couldn’t get over was his inability to save Masaki.
This connects with my theory that Isshin was in Urahara’s “special” Gigai that’s why he could not save Masaki.


Facts to back up my Hypothesis

1st:Bleach 241 page ten while Isshin is talking with Ryuken
(Ishida’s Dad) Isshin gets in to where Ryuken is at he asks him how he got in
Ryuken looks over that form your powers return Isshin responds I guess
looks good on me doesn’t it?.

2nd: Bleach 175 page fifteen While Azien is Explain his plan and the Hougyoku.
He explains about why Urahara was exiled.

3rd:Bleach 188 page 7 Isshin Conversion with Urahara and is conversation about the Arrnacars, Vaizards and Grand Fisher.

This what I think and my reasons to back them up. Also Isshin Zanpakutou is a another mystery.
Isshin may be a captain level Shinigami because of the thing he has on his is shoulder looks like a folded Captain robe this is a mystery too.
My thoughts are that he is a captain with the easy why he dispatches Grand fisher and the robe folded on his shoulder.
But nobody seems to know about him. Everything about is shrouded in mystery these are just my thoughts on the subject with some reasons to back them up.

I would like some feed back on what i wrote and what they think on the subject.

I've read through the entire thing and understand a small bit(which made some sense) but the rest is just an eyesore...

i not big on punctuation when it come to the internet and i'm a crappy typer too. Also i can explain more if you want me to so you can understand better because i want to know what people think on the subject

I'm really curious why won't all shinigami's try to get banished to have second life - it worked well for Isshin, right ? He had quite fun life with his kids and wife - I don't think he really missed souls society and he could live AGAIN.

It's like, come on...

Cause once ur banished, your on your own. If you are weak, hollows will pick of your scent, find you and eat you. If you are strong, stronger hollows will pick your scent, find you and eat you anyways. Ichigo's dad got away with it cause he had 0 spirit force because of Urahara's soul container (the same one rukia used).

Good point .... I kinda think Zaraki wouldn't mind much...

so anyways i was wondering about isshin also cuz who is he exactly ? and your theory is one that ive been thinking of for a long time . Also i was wondering why Urahara and Isshin know so much about everything.

eeeererr i dont like this theory since it has a lot of plot holes, how can isshin be a victim of urahara gigai and not being searched for, since everyone knows urahara and yuroichi but they dont talk about isshin, then how they dont find familiar that ichigo last name is kurosaki (can be a false last name but who knows)moreover how can shinji not know about isshin if he knows urahara and yuroichi, your theory is good but it messed up in the point that you put isshin with Yuroichi and urahara, if its how you said it, isshin got out first than them not at the same time

thers not relaly any "plotholes" in his theory. and what he did say was that isshin left before urahara. Making that gigai for isshin is what got urahara got kicked out of soul society for.

Isshin probably wanted it to bevome invisible, to abandaon the shinigami life, and live with his wife/lover masaki. The gigai erases his spiritual pressure, which makes him invisible, get it?

And has anyone ever thought that MAYBE the captain that kenpachi "killed" was isshin? It would have made him less desirable to search for. If they thought he was dead already. It would make for a perfect escape and never come back plan. (WILD speculation)

Yoruichi probably was just following her friend, and had little to do with isshin at all. but leaving on her own is what got her banned.

This theory is very far from being flawless >_>

Urahara was kicked out of SS for make that abomination called Hougyoku that can tear down the wall betwen Hollows and Shinigamis, that is the reason he was kicked... OK not for just creating it, but more likely for use it in his own minions and in himself... Shinji knows about Urahara and Yourichi cause he was one of those minions...

OK lets think for a second

Capitan Urahara was looking for a way to make shinigami's stronger than any hollow, and what he found was the Hougyoku... but he still needed to test it, so he had plenty of officers (seated and not seated) in the 12 division, and they gladly wanted to be stronger... but things turned horribly wrong, most of the 12 division couldn't beat their hollows and seal them in the inner core of their soul, so most of them wreacked havock in the gotei 13, luckily there were plenty of others that did manage to beat their inner hollows and they got Rid of those that couldn't... they became the vizard division, however Yamamoto wasn't happy, he wanted Urahara DEAD for the crimes againts SS, but Yourichi helped him to escape and she became a wanted criminal the remaining vizards were put to sleep if you know what I mean... but a few of them managed to escape >_> and that is why Vizards hate Shinigamis, Why Shinji knows Urahara and Yourichi, and why both Urahara and Yourichi had to run to the human world and one had to actualy transform in a cat just for spy in SS...

Also the fact that Shinji and co already knew how to deal with Ichigo's transformation means that they already did that before and not just once

But how Isshin fix in this? he doesn't, at least not without flaws... maybe Isshin was a vizard that escaped, but his heart (that thing that produces and controls reijatsu) was damaged and he was turned into a simple and humble normal spirit, yet Urahara gave his former Vice cap (If you remenber well, is pretty clear that Isshin is either a Cap or a Vice cap, but I want to belive he was Urahara former Vice capitan and ex vizard) a gigai that could let him live the life of a normal Human, and he meet Ichigos mother, and Ichigo was born... and the rest is history...
