Thread: The ones whose rank we don't know

Up to the last chapter, we know who are the espadas 10th, 9th, 8th, 6th, 5th and 4th leaving the 7th, 3rd, 2nd and 1st place open.

Now, recently on the anime saw there is another really hot chixor in the espada lines. Given the current knowledge on Noitora's past, who can't stand that a woman be stronger than him, can we assume that she's the 7th Espada? This theory is given only by excluding her backstory and just give for certain that she was transformed and acquired her Espada position ipso facto

Also, she was looking on Ichigo's vs Grimmjaw fight from pretty afar, seeing ichigo how he managed to be on par with and in the end outstand him, maybe she realized she was no match to someone who beat and upper ranked Espada

The female espada you´re talking about is called Halibel, if I´m not mistaken. But, personally, I don´t think that she is the 7th Espada. From the Espadas, only four decided, up until now, to watch the fights without interfering, one of them being number 10, Yammy, probably because he is the weakest and realized that he wouldn´t be much of a threat to the invaders ( or not ). The 4th, Ulquiorra, wouldn´t fight but, when he told Ichigo about being the one who kidnapped Orihime, the fight was inevitable. Now, another Espada decided to make a move as shown in last chapter (the black Espada goin to kill Rukia).

What I realized is that only six of the 7 lower Espadas decided to make a move against Ichigo and co. (one of them is not certain to be a lower Espada) And they are:

9th: Aaroniero Alueri (I guess that´s his name);
8th: Szayel Aporro (I´m guessing his name too);
6th: Grimmjow Jaguarjack (not too sure about last name);
5th: Noitora;
4th: Ulquiorra Schiffer.

I think that the 7th Espada is the black Espada because only the lower ones made a move against Ichigo and company, leaving the three top ones in the situation that they don´t give a damn.

About the ones that we don´t know the ranks, I think they are ranked as:

7th: Black Espada.
3th: Halibel.
2nd: Old Guy.
1st: Stark.

But I can be wrong about it.

Edit: Reading the rest of the Bleach forum, I found a topic called "Rank the captains". Shouldn´t it be better to change this topic´s name to "Rank the Espadas" to avoid confusion with the other one?

It is because he is the type to be lazy and always thinking of other things( or sleeping) so if he is really 1 it could be something cliche like this: "Ha look at him, he is sleeping we should kill him." and then he responds: "Bah I'm tired, I don't want to do this." So everyone attacks him when they see the number before getting killed and then he says with a cool atmosphere: "But you forced me to."

Exactly. He is the lazy kind and keeps thinking on other things. When I first saw him in the manga, I remembered the captain Shunsui Kyouraku when Chad battled against him and also on the fight against Yamamoto. If not the first Espada, I believe he is at least the second, with the first being the old man, which would be a perfect scenario with Yamamoto being the oldest and, possibly, the strongest captain and the old Espada being also like that. It sounds a little cliche, but isn´t Bleach known for using cliches (but at the right time)?

You have to consider that the Arrancars are pretty ruthless and the rankings are a way of proving power. Most of the espada have to keep caution of other espada because at any point one of them might try to usurp them. Then there is Stark, hes fucking sleeping while Ichigo and co are off fighting in HM, he doesnt care because the others can handle it. An espada wouldnt be sleeping out in the open where some douche like Nnoitora could slice him if he werent confident in his abilities and the other espada knew not to mess with him.

Hes lazy because theres not much to do, top of the food chain but likely knowledgeable that he can never reach Aizens level. He doesnt have to worry about the others because they know their place in rank and his power is far beyond theirs to the point that he can completely let his guard down.

But seeing as this is extremely similar to SS arc, it is possible that he is number 2 kind of a vice captain. Since the Vice Captain is much stronger than the rest and then the Captain is "usually" much stronger than the Vice Captain.

I thought that Noitorra was number 3 but he turned out ot be just talk, now i think that the top 3 are the more quiet ones, like Halibel who is watching the current fight but she stands like she could end all of what&#180;s going on.

here is my list:

1 - Stark

2 - Halibel

3 - Black guy with tomahawk

7 - Old guy

During the meeting with Aizen while Noitorra keep talking how bad ass he was compared with the people coming in Las Noches, Stark told him to shut up, which noitorra did. I think that&#180;s the only time where he obeyed someone whithout bitching too much. He has a pretty hostile attitude against Ulquiorra for example.

Plus, usually the lazy guy IS the strongest. After all, it's not like he/she's gotta do anything when there's so many people ALMOST as strong as you working beneath you. Generally speaking, nothing will ever make it past them.

Concerning Halibel and the black guy, i&#180;m just shooting in the dark, it could be reversed.

7 - Halibel, purely because of the comment made by Noitora.

3 - Black Espada, He seems to be a Komamura type, where he doesn't say much, or anything at all really. He just has that feeling about him where he's strong, but not strong enough to be #1.

2 - Stark, He really reminds me of Kyouraku.

1 - Old Guy. It would fit, but would KT be cliche and make it this way.

i agree about the old guy being first...because it could match old Yamamoto...like with the "being the oldest, they are strongest"
and also, in theory "being older makes you wiser".

Wiser, sure. Stronger, not necessarily.

I am of the contingent that believes that Stark is #1. The way he punked Nnotra (Noitora, Notoroba, Nebuchadnezer...whatever) and lack of concern for the "invasion" all mak me think that he is #1.

I also think that the black Espada is #7 because of the fact that he is about to try to kill Rukia. You know a captain is gonna save her and I doubt that they'll have whoever goes to save her face one of the top 3. Unless it's one of the stronger captains like Byakuya (as opposed to Hitsugaya lol). But since I feel that they are trying to wrap up this arch, I think he'll be #7. But the whole Nnotra spazing out because a girl was higher than him gives me hope that the 3 unranked males are the top 3 and Halibel is #7.

I think there is a good chance that she's 7 because she seemed surprised and almost concerned about Ichigos power level. Ulquiorra, who was #4 could care less aboutt him because he felt that he was clearly stronger. Likewise, I doubt that 3 Espada stronger than him would really give a crap about Ichigos power.

Disclaimer: Of course, I also used to think that Ulquiorra had to be at least 2 or 3 and that Nnotra was definitely in the top 3 as well. We'll just see how this works out lol.
